Kain perks up in mild curiosity for a moment at hearing its name, and then does its best job of acting hungry and menacing.
Meanwhile, both Mog and Sylvia look around to see what's really going on here. Since one of them is a Mage and the other is a magical creature, they may be able to pick up on something like an illusion that the others wouldn't notice.

Sylvia and Mog search around the area, but oddly enough don't find anything out of the ordinary. There's no magic being used here. You do happen to hear someone screaming though. "HAAAAALP! THE WORLD IS ENDING!" A crazy guy wearing a cloak is running around with a sign that says "The World is Ending". It...must have just been a crazy hobo. Strange...
"I've had enough of this. Stop being so mean, Lupis. Can't you see this is just some poor, old circus performer? Stop harassing him." It's them Sylvia and Mog find a strange machine. There's a lever on it...

Cheri finds Kick's joke funny and chuckles a little.
Azure and Cardinal go off and rent out one of the boats to go out on it at night. It should be all set for them tonight. They can come back a little later once it gets darker.

Sylvia pulls the lever as the machine starts making a motorized sound. "N-no! Don't do that!" There's a loud pop and flower buds fall all around Sylvia and Mog. "Oh no...the Moon Blossoms..."
"What was that?" Both Yura and Rose say this at the same time.
"That was a special celebratory item I made myself. It's supposed to shoot fully blossomed Moon Blossoms at night so they can float around in the sky and make everything pretty...but you pulled the lever early. They'll never bloom now..."
"...Oh. Lupis...I dunno about this anymore. I feel kinda bad..." It's true. The man seems genuinely sad.
