While Kick looks at Rose, Mog comes flying up behind him. It seems he heard her too.

"Why... Why is this happening to me..." Oberünd gasps out as he collapses.

In his dreams he walks through the strange and darkened streets. The stars grow to great lengths streaking across the sky. Time had sped up, leaving him behind.

Then, Oberünd realized that he was not on the streets, but laying in a field of tall, dry grass.

A gentle wind blows, and a bit of Dew drops from the grass and onto Oberünds face.

"Mostly dry, I meant." He tells the grass, while wondering how he could have dreamed ups something so impossible, so unworldly. A world full of people. A world were he was not lonely.

He slowly sat up, his eyes blurred and the stars seemed to be more streak than they were light.

Thunder rumbled in the distance. "Stop yelling at me!" He told the clouds, "It's not my fault!"

His voice was a noticeably higher pitch.

He felt hot tears sting his face. He wanted to go back to sleep. To have that dream, where he was an adventurer, there, people talked to him.

The stars were whispering in his head. What they said could not be understood. He could feel the gentle brush of their voices. The strange stirring that their presence brought.

He tried to talk to them, "Hello?!?!?" But they did not answer. Their whispering only increased in intensity.

He sat there, yelling at the stars, asking them why they wouldn't answer.

Hoping that someone would answer him. Hoping that he would no longer have to feel such...

((There you go! I took the chance to give Oberünd a bit of backstory!))

"...Ah. I see.

...I'm not going to even attempt to say things such as "I understand", because I know that everyone is so endlessly complex that they may not even understand themselves. However, I do believe that everyone is to one day find their true happiness somewhere. From the looks of it here, I'd say... Those blobs in the distance found their happiness. If for some reason Lupis can't see the true Rose and her feelings, then perhaps your true happiness lies not with him but with the future. All I can offer as both your ally and friend is my support and help you find that happiness. Wouldn't you agree, Mog?"

Now time for Babes back story!



Bane crashes to the bottom of the waterfall with a grunt. He cries out as his head collides with a rock. He sinks like a stone. He moves his arms about feebly as he tries to move to the surface. Before he can, he passes out.

"Alright! Another pile of loot." One of The Baron's captains told the other.

They stood before a blood stained group of wagons, their guns were half loaded, the other half fired upon the owners of the caravan.

Bane walks up from behind, tossing the corpse of a brutally wounded man onto the pile of cadavers.

"Yah sure yer time with that one, boss." The other captain says.

"I like tah make em bleed!" Bane says with a sadistic laugh. The other two laugh as well.

"Yah missed one, damn fools." Bane tells the two bandits.

"S-sorry boss!" One yelps nervously.

It appears to be a young girl, a ragged hole, dripping blood can be seen on her back. The grass can be seen through the other side.

" 'bother casualty of wa-" His breath catches in his throat.

This young girl has the exact likeness of his long lost sister.

For a moment, he was sure that she was.

The pain he had felt for that one moment had been enough to tell him how his other victims had felt when he had done the same to them.

The others might not have seen it the same way, but Bane had never thought of his work like this. He felt like the dirtiest creature that had ever dared to walk the Earth.

This had been a long time coming, wondering if he should give up being a bandit lord.

"Boss, everything goin alright over there?" One of the bandit captains asked.

He promptly decapitated both of them.

It would take some time, but maybe he could redeem himself.

"Thank you. I'll hold onto this..." Rose holds the flower as it glows and starts to bloom. "...I won't forget how you helped me here."

After a few hours pass at the lake, everyone heads over to the banquet, eating together at a large table.

(Basically, you guys can have some conversations. I'm going to sleep. I'll continue this tomorrow morning.)

(That comes up in a little later. Bane, Oberund, and Terrible will have to sit out on the banquet. They're a little...tied up at the moment. MWAHAHAHAHA!)
