Mosquito moves away from Jess after Oberund helps him up, then go sit on a corner, as far as he can from her.
He's seemingly scared of her.
Mosquito: "I'll look for details from here..."
He then looks at Bane and nods, trying to spot any weakness in a wall.

(Well crap that backfired more then i thought. I was just trying to show Jess is just extremely irritable and is not as hapoy go lucky as before considering she just lost everyone again. But now she's coming across as an unhinged monster just punching people)

Malik would have actually thank Jess for bringing him back to reason. Could have been worse though. If it was Balynka, there would have been a fight for sure.) |

(I was going to have this lead to more of her backstory as too the real reason why she became an adventurer.) (This was going to reveal that she just had to watch a village/city that she loved burn to tje ground after Maliek, Ashley, and Hilda were helpingher get over the first time it happened.) (She just had a really bad flashback/ PTS episode and unfortunately, Mosquito triggered it.) (Maliek she would been more sorrowful because she trusts and like Maliek)(Balynka probably wouldn't have triggered the PTS or flashback like Mosquitos whining did) |

Jess looks towards the group like she wanted to say sorry but it seemed like they needed some time to become unafraid of her. Instead she just begins looking for a weak spot or something she can use as a weapon to break everyone out.
While she searches the memory she was trying so hard to get over came back in full force and it began replaying inside her mind over and over again.
2 Years Ago.......
Jessica having served as the town guard now for about 3 years. Self taught in the use of a blade and wearing whatever armor she could sew together. It wasn't any thing fancy but well it kinda of lessen the blow of an ax, or club keyword kinda. The villagers began to think of Jessica as there saivor and protector of there village. Jess was very thankful for that and she did what she could in memory of her family that was stolen from her. The peole called Jessica their "Scatlet Protector" because of her beautiful flowing red hair and her position of protector of the village.
Jessica was walking to her usual spot just outside the village. The place was deep inside the forest it was a little home made shrine she built for her family on honor of them. Once a year she would bring flowers to the shrine and say a qucik prayer that their spirits were at peace. This day in particular it was like any other day, it was unusually warm but other then that a perfect day.
Jessica:
Mom, dad, brother, sister, wherever you are may you find peaceful rest. If only you could see what the villagers are saying of me calling me there Protector. Sigh, its not that big a deal, I am just doing what I can to make sure no one has to suffer, like I did. Anyways same time next year, who knows maybe I will finally have the courage to ask somebody out on a date.
Jessica was making her way back to the village when she saw something that shoke her to her core. "Smoke," Jessica said in a fearful matter. She rushed as fast as she could back to the village but she was too late. When Jessica got back to the village there was nothing but flames. Jessica was speechless and all she could do was stare in horror as her very home was reduced to ashes in front of her eyes.
Current Time....
Jess was in the cell looking for a weak spot when a tear began to run down her cheek. While clutching the bow that belonged to Hilda, Jessica said in a barely audible voice.
"Sorry I couldn't protect you, sorry I failed you all," Jessica said.

Today
While looking for weaknesses in the wall, Mosquito wondered what brought him here... How can he be in prison now?

"Wake up!"
Mosquito: "Huh?"
"Wake up goblin!"
Mosquito opened his eyes. Did he die? Wasn't he being chased by creatures in the tunnels? No he wasn't... He was in a bed, being looked at by one of these terrible creatures his clan was so afraid of: humans!"
Mosquito: "PLEASE... PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!"
The human was a woman, with long brown hair and green eyes. For anyone, she would be one of the most beautiful woman you could ever see. For the goblin though, she was a monster of legend which cruelty was unlimited.
Woman: "Kill? Why would I kill you! You've just woke up..."
Mosquito: "What... What do you want?"
Woman: "I... I found you in a cavern, half-dead, a week ago. I tended to your wounds and you just woke up...
I don't know what you were told about humans, but I'm not gonna hurt you."
Mosquito: "..."
Woman: "I won't push you around. My name is Lily. This room is your personal space. When you're ready you can come out. A lot of people of this village have never seen a Goblin."
Mosquito: "You're really not gonna hurt me?"
Lily: "Of course not! I saved your life"
Mosquito hesitates for a moment, remembering his exile. A tear drops off his eyes.
Mosquito: "You are indeed gentle compared to my people..."

After a year, Mosquito was part of a community. The village was populated mostly by humans, but there was some Verians here and there. Never any Goblin though. He lived with Lily, which he considered as his mom. In fact, Mosquito was a pretty young Goblin still. Mosquito knew Lily had an husband, but she was always meeting him in secret, so he never met him.
After a year though, Lily came back home with a Rat Verian, which looked exactly like a rat. There was nothing human about him.
Lily: "Mosquito, I want you to meet Raza, my husband"
Mosquito: "Hello Raza, happy to meet you!"
Raza: "You're... You're not looking at me in disgust?"
Mosquito: "Why would I do that?"
Raza: "The villagers... They think I'm horrible... That's why we hide our love... They would never accept it..."
Mosquito: "...
You know, I learned something after living here for a year. Don't listen to what people say.
I was told human were horrible, but what I see here is a community of people spending their time helping each other. There's nothing horrible about that.
Never let anyone decide who you can love or not... Is it clear?"
Lily and Raza smiled at Mosquito, than announced they were going to have a child.
The night she was born, bandits attacked and burned down the village. Lily and Raza died in front of Mosquito's face. He managed to flee with Talia, the newborn child.
Mosquito: "Seems like your race can be horrible after all little one... I'll... I'll make sure you don't turn out like those bandits... I'll take care of you!"

Mosquito had been raising Talia for many years now. For some reason, Talia dreamed of being an adventurer... Thanks to Mosquito's beliefs, she wanted to save every race and unite them all. That dream was going to be broken though... Monsters attacked the town they were living in... The 7 year old girl went outside to fight them... To start her dreams.
When soldiers came to save her, it was already too late... Her legs were mostly eaten. She would never walk again.
Mosquito didn't have the ressources to raise a cripple... He needed a source of money... To honor Talia's dream, he became an adventurer.

Mosquito was used to adventuring around his home now, but as his adoptive daughter grew up, she needed more and more ressources to survive. Mosquito had no choice. He had to become a full-on adventurer... He had to go to Terran and leave a 10 year-old cripple behind.
Mosquito: "I'm sorry Talia... I need to go to Terran now... I'll send you money and letters and I'll come pick you up when I get a house!"
Talia: "Please... Don't leave me alone..."
Mosquito: "I... I have no choice my child, I have to do this or I won't be able to take care of you properly... I want you to have the best possible life... I'll come back for you, I swear!"
Talia hugged Mosquito before his departure, both of them eyes full of tears.

(Dwaaa that just made me love Mosquito 100 x more
If Jess would have known about all that she would immediately apologize and would ask Mosquito to forgive her
In fact she would probably give Mosquito any gold she had just to help her and his daughter
(But i can see what you mean how that there past were very similar)
