Oh dear. This certainly won't be abused at all. Soup X Sylvia. Yes. Maybe not in terms of romance, but they could potentially become unlikely friends. She's a Mage, his soups are more or less potions, they've at least got one somewhat common interest.

I've added quite a few new classes recently in case anyone was thinking of making new characters. The Pirate, Monster Tamer, Weather Caller, Diviner, Monk, and Necromancer classes should all be ready and open with skills soon. I figured with all these new adventurers from foreign lands, we should try out having some new classes. Also, I thought I might make an overview of classes while I was here.
Freelancer - The well rounded base class. It contains all kinds of skills. Offensive physical, magic, defensive, and even some healing or stat boosting skills.
Knight - A class with a high focus on physical offense and defense. Has low speed and magic stats though. This class learns all kinds of offensive skills, with a good mix of defensive skills. Probably the best class for those that wish to play a defensive role.
Mercenary - A class that focuses on using their exploration expertise to further themselves rather than pure fighting power. They gain skills to increase money gained and skills that help them be more fluid in combat with their battle style. While having well rounded stats, mercenaries tend to have higher speed and attack with lower magic and resistance.
Thief - This class is for those that like to play dirty. Thieves focus on stealing opponents items and activating critical hits with high dexterity. Although they have high speed and are skilled at dodging, if they're hit, they're defensive skills are pretty bad.
Pirate - This class has a focus on using power to overwhelm opponents. Pirates have powerful attacks that will lower enemy stats when they're hit. They're also very skilled in aquatic battle.
Monk - This class is for skilled martial artists that prefer to use fists in battle instead of swords and magic. They deal high damage while increasing their own stats. They're defense may not be as high as the pirates are, but they make up for it in speed.
Archer - For those that wish to fight, but stay in the back, there's this class. Archers fire their many different kinds of arrows at opponents, but specialize in firing multiple times at the same enemy.
Gunner - Using advanced technology only recently developed, Gunners can exploit enemy weaknesses with different bullet types. Their main focus is to damage multiple enemies at once instead of just one.
Mage - Your everyday, typical mage class. Learn the many offensive magics to defeat your enemies with!
Spellsword - Mages with a twist! Now you can combine your spells into your weapons to attack! There are a lot of different combinations to try out.
Necromancer - Control dark spirits and use magic to damage opponents. This class requires you to balance out losing health and draining health from enemies to deal heavy damage.
Healer - A simple healing mage that learns all the basics. They even learn some light magic!
Bard - These adventurers play special kinds of songs to heal and bolster their allies. It's amazing what the right music can do in battle!
Alchemist - A class with a focus on using items and creating potions. These can make effective healers and attackers when used right.
Engineer - Instead of going headfirst into battle themselves, this class prefers to create inventions that help their allies. They also can create some pretty deadly weapons, so watch out!
Weather Caller - A class that focuses on controlling the weather. They can call forth rainstorms and sunshine to help control the tide of battle. They also learn abilities that vary depending on location and weather!
Diviner - This class contains those that look into the future. Most skills have the user predicting attacks to defend against them or healing allies with special astral magic. It has a variety of uses.
Monster Tamer - This special class focuses mainly on capturing monsters to use as allies in battle or to control enemies you are fighting.
I think that's all of them.

Salesman should be added.
Salesman:
By offering your enemies great products at low prices, you can easily distract them before they brutally murder you after you ripped them off.

Sounds like Merchant from Bravely Default. Anyway, I don't really include salespeople and merchants as adventurers because of the option just to be a merchant instead and sell stuff in town.

I was wondering something about shopkeepers though.
If Terran is attacked, can Treblig and Soup actually defend themselves?
And if Treblig posts a quest (I just remembered his next quest, don't know if you still have that PM), can he actually join the the adventurers as an NPC like Salty?

Yeah, it's very possible for those to happen. When the Dark Lords invaded Terran a long time ago, Griffon and Garren joined the battle to help defend against them. It was quite the epic battle. I allowed players to break the party limit so that they could keep up in battle. Anyway, yeah. Shopkeepers can battle although some are better at it than others. Usually they have their own special skills and don't really learn the typical adventurer skills like most NPC fighters. As long as they're balanced and aren't overpowered, they can battle.

Also, Oberünds voice sounds something like those guys, just more sane.

Duly noted.
Treblig can't really fight, but he still has some powerful claws and being a monster tamer himself, he probably knows the weak point of any enemy.

Sitting here trying to decide if I want to create more NPC adventurers to take up the slots of the new classes or if I want to just wait to see if anyone makes more characters or if I just want to go to bed right now.

Human: A typical human
Elf: Pretty self explanatory. Pretty much a human with pointy ears.
Verian: Looks like a human with certain animal features like ears, a tail, or sometimes horns.
Magigen: Adepts in magic with magic auras and glowing symbols and patterns on their skin. No two patterns and auras are alike!
Chibi Goblin: A cute version of a Goblin. More civilized. Very tiny and hilarious to have carry around hammers. They're about 1/3 the height of a normal human.

(The first thing I remember Malik doing is fighting the Kraken... Was he just randomly on Salty's boat? I'm not even sure he got an introduction xd Time to search the 100+ page old topic )
