Story:
Nearly 50 years ago, a group of explorers reached what they thought was the event horizon. They had instead reached a far stranger and more ancients place than even the universe itself. It was the edge of reality. The place where all our precious laws and theories were thrown out the window.
The team was never heard from again.
Another team, a group of mercenaries, were sent to recover them. Soon, enough they too went missing. Their voices lost in the vacuum of space.
Both teams were presumed "Missing in Action" and the case was pushed into the back of a dusty filing cabinet, to be forgotten.
Of course, not everyone that knew of it forgot. One being, who had served on the council who had worked on the case chose instead to continue the case with a private militia group known as the worlds guard.
With the help is some of the most ingenious minds he works had to offer, and quite a bit of funding. They were finally able to study the anomalies that had destroyed both expeditions.
They found that they had been "Fallen" into holes in reality, were they had most likely ceased to exist.
Sending probes, rather than living human, to explore this scientific anomaly, they were able to discover the truth of the matter. An infinite amount of other realities co-existed in the same place as hours.
After sending a probe through one such "hole, they were able to find a strange universe filled with micro-planets and ancient structures. Eventually, technology was devolved to send the first ever exposition through one of these holes. The new technology allowed them to communicate and track progress through the fabric of the universe.
However, 3 days after they entered the new reality, a total black out occurred, and all contact with the survey team was lost. Even the ship seemed to have just vanished into thin air.
The World's Guard, alone, did not have the resources to develop the force needed to track down the lost team and explore this new universe. Instead, they announced the new discovery. Though, they were very vague about it.
The goal was to have an elite group of units trained from various organizations and civilizations. Each would represent their group, and would help to explore and possibly colonize the new world. They would know their people's needs, and would find sectors that corresponded with these needs.
This elite unit was known as CERBERUS Unit. It earned this name for its three primary objectives: Infiltrate, Investigate, Exterminate.
It has been seven years, and all members of CERBERUS unit have been carefully selected and trained, the universe they are about to enter is dark and mysterious. But something far more sinister than a simple mishap waits, watching in the corner. It is all devouring. It is despair incarnate. It is anything but what is seems, for nothing is ever as it seems.

This RP will be done in chapters each chapter will progress once you complete the "goal". You'll get a nice, decently easy into, but after that, I'll mostly be modding. Everything that you do will effect the later outcome. Your actions might lead to he death of another character, or your own. And yes, character death is a very real possibility.

All of CERBERUS has been acquisitioned a small corvette. It has all the basic necessities have been included. It's a bit cramped, but it's all the WG could get for group of your size.
