It seems that you guys can either go straight there or explore a little. Let's see...
Kardus said to get the Golden Needles, but there are other things here too that could be useful. The library is full of knowledge and having the people of Magis help in the final battle against the Dark Lords would be amazingly helpful.
(Keep in mind EVERYTHING you guys do from here on forward will likely have huge affects on the final battle. We're at a crucial point in the story.)

First priority should be those Golden Needles. It would be incredibly difficult to convince the people of Magis to help us fight he Dark Lords since they still think we're the Dark Lords, and if we blow our cover now we probably won't get another chance to save the Guardians.

Balynka buys a Golden Needle, then goes to the Library. She's gonna read about the Dark Lords, looking for two things:
1.Any weakness they can have.
2.Something that is unique to Dark Lords, like a mark of shadow or whatever. Basically, she's looking at what makes you a Dark Lord so she can prove she's not one by not having those specific traits or abilities.

Actually, since Paul is Phenoix Wright maybe if you guys remove your disguises Paul can act as your defense attorney and have a trial to clear your names.
Anyways for now Paul Wright buys a golden needle and places it somewhere safe. Now to read about these dark lords.
Paul will help Danny Jones with her reaserch , with the reaserch while also lookibg at some books about magic. (Hey he's still trying to learn about all the world's magic and to him he is a kid in a candy store)

Cheri goes and buys five Golden Needles so the others don't have to waste their Gold. Then many of the group's members go and read books in the library, searching for helpful info. It seems the Dark Lords don't really have a weakness. The Guardian of Darkness is weak to light attacks though. But it seems the Guardian of Light is also weak to dark attacks. They're weak to each other. The Dark Lords all appear to be separate beings with their own powers. You'll have to think logically to find their weakness. There don't appear to be many signs of Dark Lords aside from a dark aura when fighting the Legendary Heroes. This aura is said to be the Guardian of Darkness granting power to the Dark Lords much like the light aura the heroes have that is the Guardian of Light granting them power. It seems both sides are usually equal in strength, but something always tilts in their favor somehow...it doesn't explain what exactly.
Meanwhile, Bane asks about bandits. "We haven't had much bandit trouble recently, to be honest. About a week ago I believe they either disbanded or evacuated the area to pillage elsewhere. It was rather peaceful for a little while until those Dark Lords got involved. They stole the Arcsage's Tome of Light! We thought we caught them, but they escaped, leaving destruction in their path. Our statue of an ancient hero, a gate, and many vegetable stands were destroyed. I'll never forgive them for this..."

Paul finds one book on magic that looks particularly interesting. "Eidolons, The Power of Summoning" Looks pretty interesting, right?
Paul looks into it a little deeper, finding that it lists off these Eidolons and their locations. Maybe he should tell the others so they can note these down...?
