Jace finds that Meri actually isn't disguised. Since nobody can see her anyway, it wasn't necessary.
"The Tome of Light is an ancient artifact passed down to each Arcsage. It's considered a sort of treasure in this town, I guess. It's supposed to contain magic spells. Powerful light magic. It makes the wielder much stronger. Anyway, that thing was our last line of defense, but now that the Dark Lords have it, who knows what might happen!? This is horrible..."

Bane heads to the library and reports to his allies what he heard. Tren, the white cat Verian seems to be somewhat intrigued. "A Tome of Light? I see...if the Dark Lords have this weapon, there's no real telling what they could do. It sounds powerful indeed. Let's keep an eye out for it. We could use a weapon like that."

Bane sits around and eavesdrops on others...
It takes a while, but eventually, he hears some people talking about the Tome of Light.
"Did you hear? People say that one of the bishops stole the Tome of Light, not the Dark Lords...!"
"What? That's a load of shit. There's no way! The Dark Lords totally stole it."
"What if...that bishop IS a Dark Lord...!?"
"Dude, you're crazy."
"It could happen..."
A few minutes later, he hears more talking about it.
"Those Dark Lords sure are good at making messes. With the Tome of Light stolen, how are we going to protect ourselves?"
"I'm impressed, really. They stole it without leaving a trace behind at all. It's like they didn't even have to break in to steal it."
"True masters in the art of thievery, I guess."

He will then go to the location and try to search for evidence that the others might have missed. Also, Bane should ask the others for help before he goes to the location. It's dangerous to go alonex

Then we learned Mr. Pooky wasn't a normal cat, but rather a cat with strange powers. I had no idea he was a dragon until much later though. It feels almost as if he and Cheri are linked somehow though. It's like they're two halves of a whole..."
