Here, let me detail what will happen a little better to help.

Speak with Dragons (Easy Mode, but worst plot)
You will fight the Shadow Dragon and discover that the dragon tribe is actually evil and follows the Shadow Dragon's orders.

Speak with King (Normal Mode, decent plot)
You will fight The Mask and a secret Dark Lord, discovering that the king was under control of the Dark Lords and forced him to attack the innocent tribe.

Split up and Check Both (Hard Mode, but best plot)
You will fight the Shadow Dragon, The Mask, and the secret Dark Lord, discovering that the Shadow Dragon kicked out the original leader of the dragon tribe and that the Dark Lords had the people of Rainfall and dragon tribe fighting each other so that they would die and be unable to help the heroes in their battle. You will also receive a Hero Weapon. It's only one Hero Weapon, but they're the strongest weapon in the game only forgeable by a master smith. It will be the type of weapon that whoever has it uses.

"That sounds fine. How should we split up?"

(I personally suggest having Yura go to see the king and having Vince go see the dragon tribe.)

"A-Alright...I guess I'll do my best."

"Stay safe, Layor. And keep an eye on the big imbecile for me."

"So we're headed back to that village after all these years..."

"See you three later! Hopefully the king's negotiation goes well."

"Ugh, I hate boring trips. Let's make this quick."

"I guess I'll stay with Lupis to manage his shopping."

With that, the groups split up. Lupis, Yura, Layor, and Elli all head toward the castle while Yzza, Vince, Kardus, and Tiamat.

The group heads over toward the castle, but quickly dives behind a bush, noticing that the guards are busy walking around on patrol. It seems they're really on guard. "Their patterns are different. I don't know how to get past. It's never been like this before..." While the group is busy trying to figure out what to do, a voice speak to them from behind.

"Hey, need some help?" Everyone turns around to find a woman that looks similar to Yura standing behind them, but with brown hair instead of dirty blonde. Yura takes out her Silver Knives in a fighting stance. She looks pretty on guard.

"Reyolva. What are you doing here?"

"I just saw my sister and thought she could use some help. What's wrong with that?"

"We don't need your help."

"It looks like you could. Getting in that castle isn't easy."

"Don't trust her, Lupis. She's a trained thief and assassin."

"Yura, your lack of faith in me hurts. I put all that behind me. I want a second chance to prove myself. I'm a better person now."

"Second chance my ass. She's lying. Don't trust her."

"It's not very nice to act like that, you know? I just want to look after you. You are my little sister after all. I thought you believed in second chances, Yura. If you can have one, why can't I? Please? I want to make up for what I've done. I did some things I can never take back...but please."

"...I'll let Lupis decide." Yura looks to Lupis.

"...It is true. We don't actually have a way in..." Layor seems to want to trust Reyolva. She does have a point too. Both her and Yura have the same past. If Yura can change, why not her? Then again, this could be dangerous if she is lying. It's a difficult choice.

"Absolutely." Reyolva shakes Lupis' hand. Yura puts her knives away and sighs. "It looks like it's us again, Yura! It'll be just like old times! Except, you know, as good guys!" Reyolva puts her arm around Yura, but she pushes it off.

"Knock it off or I'll cut your hands off. Both of us know those were bad times."

"It's nice to be together again after so long. So who is everyone? Your name must be Lupis a-"

"Don't touch him either."

"Alright, alright. Put those knives away, will ya? Who are you two?"

"I-I'm Layor. Nice to meet you." Layor bows nervously.

"My name is Elli. I'm a magic professor. Nice too meet you, Miss Reyolva."

"It's good to see Yura's friends. Oh, let me show you the way inside." She jumps up and kicks open a window before helping everyone else in. As they run between the different guards on patrol and sneak through the shadows, Yura looks fairly concerned. Maybe Now's a good time to ask about Reyolva...?

"Well, when I was younger, I had to turn to being a criminal to survive with my sister. Our parents died while we were young and we were very poor. So we had to fight our way to survival. Steal, kill, whatever it took. I'm not proud of what I did. That's why I'm here. I want to make up for all of that and change my ways. But when I left, my sister did not. In fact, she tried to have me killed for leaving. She attacked me with a group of assassins. I managed to kill the assassins without much of a problem, but Reyolva was a differing story. I managed to lose her trail, but not before she managed to get a rather painful attack in on me, claiming that 'If you leave us, you'll go back to the streets, being the weak and pathetic girl you once were. Only the strong survive and the strong have to kill.' She tried to kill me so that I would not reveal her secrets and get her band caught. It turns out I didn't have to since I found out only about a week or so of adventuring later that her group of thieves and killers was disbanded. She says she wants a second chance, but I'm not sure I believe her. Would you if someone left a scar on your arm?" Yura unties a bandanna she always wears on her arm and shows Lupis a scar that was definitely made by a knife getting stabbed into Yura's arm. The wound is healed, but there's still the mark there. "So I think you can imagine my discomfort in bringing her with us. And now she just shows up out of nowhere, being all happy go lucky."

"...Still, even though I'd prefer not to have anything to do with her, I don't want to kill her either. She's still my sister. It's true that we got along quite well when we lived on the street. It was just us, so we were all we had. Maybe she really is telling the truth. Urgh, nevermind. Let's focus on the task at hand." Everyone follows along before coming up to the door where the king should be.

"Are you all ready? This should be where the king is."

"He said they attacked first...but I don't know for sure. I think it's wrong. He doesn't just attack the soldiers, but the civilians too. And the tribe started doing the same here. It's just horrible..."
