Yeah, that turn was accurate. Kairai doesn't affect what the enemy does, only who they target.
Cast Thundaga (no Spellcrafting since I need to conserve my MP) on Octavio, aiming for the speakers.

Kayako disappears, while Emperor ING becomes a shadowy puddle.

"Switch targets with me." Joel will scan for Kayako and then lock on to her, using the Painting Beam to turn her into a painting. Paintings seem to be most effective on ghosts.
Ultra, I need your help her. Please turn Emperor ING's SOUL blue or rather, its heart, and smash it all over the place so that you destroy it from the inside.

(Okay, so a little warning here...
Kayako will kill any fighter she touches, but that's her only way of attacking. She has to reach her opponent and touch it to kill him.
She has a really specific ability though... I can't tell you exactly what it is because it would be too easy, but one of your 2 fighters has something she can instantly appear in.
You have my entire work day to try and find out what it is!)
