Mech gets on the back of his gryphon, getting ready to fly to the entrance of the forest. He disembarks his mount at the entrance to the forest, because this was a challenge that the commander would face alone. As Mech approaches the clearing where the Dragon was, Mech put his scan goggles on and equipped his claw gloves and boots. He looks at the beast, and noticed the injuries from the two titanium shield spears. Before the dragon even wakes up, he dashes toward the shields and leaps to the one right under the dragons neck. The dragon wakes up from the sharp jab of pain that shut up his neck.
The dragon takes flight, knowing that it's attacker wouldn't be able to continue to fight if it was in the air. What the dragon didn't expect is the claw boots and gloves that allowed Mech to continue to stay attached! Mech climbed up Yiishla's neck and began attacking the dragon's head. The attacks seemed to have no effect, until Mech hits one of the dragons eyes. The dragon screeches in pain, does a quick aerial maneuver and hangs the poor commander in the air! Mech looses his grip, and falls to what appears to be his death. The dragon above him breathes out a large plume of purple flame. Mech closes his eyes, as he free-falls in the air. Finally the gryphon he rode in on saves him from his certain doom, and he flies off in defeat.
"I'll be back. This isn't over!" Mech looked back with a gleam of determination in his eye. He wanted that dragon, and he would do anything to get what he wants.
