Welcome to Superfight! This is a game of absurd arguments involving ridiculously exciting matchups between some of your favorite Vitcon characters.
(This version uses the Vitcon Pack. All Character and Location Cards have some connection with Vitcon or its subsidiaries.)
The official rules:
Two players debate one another using their selection of cards, pleading their cases about why their fighters would win the fight. A judge or panel of judges rates the debate, determining who had the better case. Judging is SOLELY based on the debating aspect, NOT the actual matchup.
Players draw five Character Cards, three Attribute Cards, and two Detriment Cards. They then pick two Character Cards, two Attribute Cards, and one Detriment Card they wish to use, discarding the rest.
Once these cards are picked, a Location Card and Scenario Card is drawn to determine the location of the battle and a special condition that affects all battle participants.
Once a match / debate has been set, a coin flip will take place, allowing the winner to start the debate (or allow the opponent to start if they wish). Debate then commences from there.
In order to keep matches from dragging on for large amounts of time, each player has a limit of 30 posts per battle. You may post as much or as little as you'd like in those 30 posts, but you must post alternatively with your opponent, taking turns to prevent one person from dominating the conversation.
The debate ends when each player has posted 30 times in a match or when both players rest their case. I expect this to be more than enough room for debate.
The judge(s) determines the winner based on the debate.
TLDR rules:
Pick two characters, two buffs, and a debuff.
Debate why they beat the opponent in 30 posts or less.
Take turns.
Normally Superfight would involve the two players betting Arena Coins or any alternatives they wish to gamble, but since it's the game's first appearance, the first match will be free of betting to serve as an exhibition.
If you would like to play, please post in this thread and coordinate with an opponent you would like to face and we'll get started!
