Natsumi goes to the library and returns that book. Gets another to increase Understanding. Something about philosophy, I guess? If she doesn't run into anyone interesting, she'll head to the volunteering club.

"Hey, Jimmy and I have made an important discovery regarding that thing you asked about. You'll have to meet us afterschool though because we have practice today."
Tai sends the message and heads off to baseball practice.

Lyon will text Ava back in the morning. "I'm alright, but... My father is in the hospital and I'm having to take care of some family business. If you can come over later today, we can spend some time together and I can explain more."
Lyon doesn't go to school that day.

You search around for something that will help you with your understanding in the library, eventually finding one that teaches you how to read others emotions by examining their faces. As you check out the book, you notice a girl there has piles of papers stacked high that she seems to be filling out rapidly.

You and Jimmy head to baseball practice together. Surprisingly enough, nothing horrible happened today! Which is a good thing because Jimmy managed to put the coach in an arm cast last time.
Your Diligence has increased by 1!
You then notice Buttons walking out to the baseball field after practice. He seems to be reading through a couple occult books, continuing his research. "...I'm here to see what you have."
Lyon
You take the day off from school, understandably, and deal with family business for the day.
Later that afternoon, the doorbell can be heard ringing. Avalon stands there with a concerned expression. It seems she spend most of the day worried about Lyon.

You follow Laura to her house. Although she notices you following her. She seems to think that instead of being a creep, you're just walking with her and want to hang out. She then takes out her phone, responding to some text messages on the way.

"Sure, we can hang out if you want! Karl seems to have tagged along with me today and I'm gonna go see Julia tonight, so I guess today's just a really social day or something. :P"

You sneak around and make your way behind the girl without being noticed. All of these papers appear to be mostly school work. There are a lot of AP homework papers in here. There's also some student council papers as well. It seems like she's head of it! It's surprising how quickly she gets all of these done...

Natsumi watches silently for a few seconds. She feels a surge of warrior's spirit. She feigns a smile and takes a seat directly opposite the library-person. "Hello," she says. She pulls out her own work and gets started, gritting her teeth with determination not to lose the completely fictitious competition that she's entirely imagining.
