Karl walks to a gigantic mansion. He puts his backpack in front of the front door. The gigantic door opens, and a man holding several boxes of pop-tarts appears.

" Hey, son, I picked up some hot chocolate pop-tarts for you!"

Karl pumps his fist in the air as he follows his dad inside. The house is truly gigantic, and there are servants running all around. The weirdest thing in the house, besides a gigantic iron cast statue of a poptart, is a bunch of framed lottery tickets near the entrance. Karl and his dad sit down on the couch and eat poptarts. Karl's dad has the same curly brown hair as Karl, but it goes down instead of up. He is also wearing rainbow pants that look like they were in the Thrift Store several times.

Thank goodness that lock on Tab's sweet scooter still works after all these years. Wouldn't want to lose that after many years of use for newspaper delivery, Tab's fun but stressful job that he gets a break from on the weekdays now that's school's in. Tab enters his pretty average apartment building, paid by his uncle. Tab's uncle "takes care" of Tab due to an agreement between him and his parents, but really never shows up. Entering his room, Tab crashes on the bed and snoozes.

Laura, Tom, Tab, Morgan, Julia, and Karl are all at Laura's house. It's a nice house. Not so big that it's like a mansion, but large enough for everyone to be in. "Well, welcome to my house. My parents are still at work, so it's just us. You can put your stuff upstairs in my room." She puts some of her things away and shows everyone where everything is so they aren't lost. "So what are we gonna do while we wait?"

Tab checks his phone. It's 6:00 PM. "Oh, that might be a good idea. Let's put each other's phone numbers in our phones so we can call each other."

"I guess I have to also..."

"Now we can talk through the phone whenever we need to."

(Players can use their phones to call each other or NPCs to talk or make plans to meet up some time. Some NPCs will call you to make plans or ask for help with something.)

Julia: "So, heard of anyone who actually tried it?

I mean, if there's a rumor, surely someone tested it before us."

"I don't actually know anyone that tried it out. At least not tried it and told me about it."

"Yeah, I dunno if anyone actually tried it. I think there was some freshman kid. Yeah, Fox was his name. That's what they call him at least. Said something about there being another world. The kid's crazy. Nobody believed him. Said there were monsters and everything there and that he had powers there. Maybe he should make movies with that kind of crazy imagination."

"I feel pretty bad for him. Lots of people made fun of him for it and haven't been very nice to him since. He gets teased a lot. Poor guy."

"I got a few movies. Most of them are from when I was just a kid though. The Lion Queen, Finding Elmo, and Muran. They're all Pixney movies."
