Tai feels something within him change. Something new that cannot be replaced. It's a warm and fuzzy feeling. Tai and Avalon have achieved relationship rank 2!

...It is getting late. It's nearly midnight.

"I bet Somnis is working with the ferret mafia! WE MUST DESTROY HER AT ALL COSTS!"

I don't think she's the devil. In fact this Somnis chick sounds cool. Sounds good Raine.

By the way Raine did she have a dog with her when you saw her

Tai climbs up a nearby tree and goes to sleep in it.

"Okay, so I found this diary... I think it's Galleon's, but I'm not sure. I'll ask him next time I meet him. I need to go back there to get my phone back anyway."

Julia takes an old diary out and reads it.

"Day 01

This new world I've stumbled across looks so fascinating. Creatures I've never imagined would exist can be found here. Otters that can control the waves, palm trees that walk around and act like animals, and even heart shaped fish in the sea. From my studies, these animals can be used as valuable resources. They're great sources of nutrition and their furs and scales are stronger than any metals I've ever seen.

Day 02

This world is beautiful, but dangerous as well. Today, while we were exploring, one of the scientists were eaten alive by a giant shark. We will begin researching a way to make humans stronger in this world. Maybe we can rival the monsters here. If we could find a way to control the energy in this place...

Day 09

We have finally found a way to tap into the energy. We call it "Soul Key". A mysterious piece of technology that uses the power of the Elemental Souls. It seems to reflect the personality of the person wearing it. Our research will continue.

They have --come bl---thir---. If you're ---ding this, close the portal. Our worl-- should never have ---- in-- c------. The project was a mista--."

Julia closes the book.

"I'll know for sure when I go see Galleon, but my thought on this are:

1.A group of humans found the other world long ago.
2.Soul Key are made from the creatures of that other world.
3.The creatures became completely bloodthirsty because humans started to hunt them to survive in the other world.
4.If this is Galleon's diary... Well... He became a monster himself.
5.They were trying something and their last words were to close the portal...

I have a few thoughts though.

First of all, monsters transforming humans into monsters sound terrifying.

Second, they used the word "bloodthristy"... Some creatures over there kept their hatred for humans, but I wouldn't call them "bloodthirsty". The searchers must have been doing something else, which caused the other world's denizens to become murderous.

All in all, there's just something wrong with all of this. I remember that something made me think getting all the Souls would actually be a bad thing. I thought it was a part of that diary, but now that I reread it, it doesn't seem like it. I'm sure there's something we don't know about the souls, that's why I was reticent in Fox taking Galleon's soul. I think if the next guardian is as nice as Galleon, we should let it keep the soul safe without having Fox absorb it. I'm sure there's a negative aspect to it and I truly don't want Fox to absorb all souls before we find that negative aspect."

Actually, Julia when you go to meet Galleon can I go with you. I wish to talk to him just face to face and well.... (Morgan looks into the distance)..... I feel like I owe him, Balar, and Soleria an apology and I just want to talk that's all.
