"What is happening right now? I just wanted to meet your dog and catch up with you and then this happened... I'm so sorry Tom... I asked you to come here... I asked you to keep my plan to save Lance secret... I'm so sorry for everything I put you through Tom.
I hope you know I appreciate you... Of the group, I might trust you the most.
I'll go with the policemen and try to get Karl out of trouble. You don't have to follow me. I caused you enough trouble already."
Julia will text Morgan
"Problems with Karl, going to be questioned by the police, I'll keep you updated. I am not in trouble."

Julia and Karl
Tom scratches his head a bit and frowns slightly. "It's no problem. I don't mind helping out a friend. But...make sure you get out of this safely with Karl, alright." He then whispers to you. "We don't want them to find out about the other world, so keep your answers to their questions vague. They'll know if you're lying." He then takes off his sunglasses for a moment and looks at you a moment with a face of understanding. He nods and places the sunglasses back on, hiding his scar again. "Sorry, officer, but I have to get my dog home. I'm sure you understand."
"Of course."
Tom then heads off back home with Dusty following him.
Julia and Tom have reached relationship rank 4!
"Alright, you two come with me." The officer takes both Julia and Karl down to the police station. The two of them both head to different rooms and different officers speak with them.
Julia
The officer sits on the other side of the table from you calmly. "Alright, you seem to know that boy we found breaking into that house. He said you were his friend. Do you know anything about what he was doing there?"
Karl
The officer sitting across from you seems to be inspecting your every move with his eyes. "Alright, kid. We caught you breaking and entering and we've caught you in the act of vandalism. Not only this, but we've recently gotten reports about you sneaking around at midnight and going into dark alleys. What exactly is going on here? Drugs? Weapons? The description we received perfectly matches you. It can't be a coincidence that we found you breaking into someone's home. If you speak with us now, we may be able to lessen your sentence."

"Our friend Alice lives in that house, Tom and me went to see her parents to ask about her, since she didn't show up for school for a few days now. Seems like Karl went there before us.
I guess the parents weren't there...
I have no idea what he was doing there, but Karl has no skills whatsoever, if he entered, the doors must have been unlocked already. Pretty sure he thought something was wrong and investigated to make sure of it.
He's also impulsive, so him overreacting to the arrival of the police is completely normal to me."

"The door was unlocked, and the girl im the house wasnt at school, so I went in and then the burgler alarm went off, so I looked for evidence, and then I remembered that girls wrote diaries or some crap so I got technology to look through to see if it is a diary, you know? Oh, yeah, the dark alleys and midnight. Well, if I go into one of the alley I gain Courage and crap. Also, theres another world out there with portals that come out at midnight and we go into them and fight monsters and crap."
Karl proceeds to eat some pop-tarts.

The officer observes you skeptically. His eyes look to the pop tarts. "What exactly is in those?"
Julia
"Mmhmm." He nods. "Alright, I only have a few more questions. Do you know anything about disappearances at your school? We have reason to believe your friend may be involved." The officer takes out what looks like a file, looking through it until pulling out a photo. "This boy has recently gone missing. We've seen him around the same locations and spending time with your friend." It's a picture of Zack.

I was with Karl yesterday though. He was being threatened by bullies and I got him away from them.
Karl and Zack being together sounds wrong to me. Zack dislikes us, so he would definitely not hang out with Karl. Also, trust me. If Karl tried to kidnap him, Zack would have had the upper hand on him. I don't believe there is any possible scenario where Karl won a fight against Zack.
With that said, something concerns me. There IS someone who impersonated Zack last week, trying to make him pass for a murderer."
