Lance looks around and nods. "Alright, then let's get moving on to the other world. We can take care of our preparations at the camp there."
Laura nods. "Don't forget to get there carefully. We can't go in one large group. We'll each have to make our way there unnoticed and in small groups. That way we aren't suspicious."

Avalon gives Lyon a warm smile and takes one of his hands, holding it in hers. "Maybe not perfect to everyone, but you're perfect to me. It seems like we have a lot more in common than I originally thought." She shifts a bit and leans forward slightly, toward Lyon. "Listen, I know that things may not be going well with your family right now, but I want you to know that you will always have me. I...I want you to know that I will stand by your side. Even when things are hard." She then seems a little embarrassed during the next part, but you can tell she means it from the look in her eyes. "Because I love you."

Lyon is stunned into silence for a while, unsure how to respond. Then his face softens into a look of adoration. "I don't really have a frame of reference for how I feel about you... I've never felt this way about anyone before, Ava. But I think... No, I know I feel the same way. I love you too."
Their food arrives at that moment, and Lyon takes a moment to thank the waiter and begin eating. The food was excellent. Then he turns back to Ava. "I will stand by you as well, Ava. I will always be here for you. By the way... This reminds me. I never did ask you when your birthday was, or what your favorite color is. I want to know all about you."

Avalon seems glad that Lyon is enjoying the date and the food. "My birthday is on December 12th. I hope you don't forget. I'm expecting a gift now." Avalon says this in a joking manner to you. "My favorite color...probably blue. Or gold. Both of those are very pretty."
The waiter comes by and restocks the bread on the table for you while you talk. Actually, come to think of it, he seems a little familiar. Actually, he seems kind of young to be working here...strange.
Avalon does not pay him much mind, however. She's more interested in Lyon. "So, what about you? When's your birthday?"
