Alice heals Laura as she stands at the front again, blocking a powerful attack from the Dryad. She dances around and causes a storm of sharp leaves to slash at Laura. It seems to do a lot of damage, but the party rushes in and attacks with Morgan jumping up in the air on top of the Dryad to finish her off.

The group moves upward to floor eight and finds that there are a lot of plants growing on this floor. Mushrooms, strange grass, and interesting looking berries. There's also a sleeping bear nearby and a few White Crows hop along the ground, pecking at some of the berries they find. One of them hops toward Morgan and tilts it's head before squawking.

Julia will use Analysis on everything. See what looks normal and see what looks weird.
"The animals look friendly this time. Let me look carefully at the plants and mushrooms before touching anything though. Making sure we don't make any wrong move."

Julia inspects her surroundings and determines a few things about the plants. The mushrooms are the Red Mushrooms she finds from the Spore Mushrooms while the berries look like the healing berries Fox uses in his potions. The grass seems to move every once in a while, however. Take that as you will. Julia can determine the crows are not hostile, but are sensitive to loud noises and will attack if startled. The large bear seems territorial. Be careful not to wake it up as you walk around. Any sort of loud sounds or battle will awaken it.

Julia: "Okay? The mushrooms and berries are fine. Can I have the mushrooms? I needed them.
The crows are friendly, as long as we don't make loud noises. The bear is very territorial though. We must be careful not to wake him up.
Mayne we should all work together to pick up and transport Tab's scooter."

The group carefully picks the mushrooms and berries as Tab walks his scooter over to the other side of the floor. The bear's snoring can be heard lightly as the crows all hop behind the party in a line. It's like they're playing some kind of game. The grass twitches slightly as you walk past it. Eventually after gathering the usable materials, the party reaches the entrance to the next floor, leaving behind the crows as they stare at everyone and squawk.

"Be careful. We haven't been past the eighth floor before. Anything could be on the next two floors." As the group slowly walks up to Floor 9, they find something completely unexpected. A small town is built inside of the tree. But it isn't humans that live here. Little creatures made of wood and leaves live here. They resemble gyroids.
"What the hell...?"
"They're cute."
"Be careful. We don't know if they are hostile."

Morgan: They seem really cute but well the last cute thing tried to suck out our souls.
