In a world full of many diverse creatures and civilizations, a song can be found within everything. From the area you are in to the creatures living in it, everything has a song. There are a select few, however, that have the ability to hear these songs, change these songs, and even silence these songs. The very powers of life are at their fingertips and these people are named Tuners. Because of these Tuners always changing the world, it has become incredibly diverse. However, a few years ago, what was thought to be the last of the Tuners was wiped out entirely. The world had assumed a state of stability after and things had stayed the same for quite some time. That is until recently. A strange force has been taking the songs out of life. Replaced with silence, the areas attacked have become barren. Desolate of life and gray in color. With the people's plea for help, a new song has arisen in their voices. You are awakened from this song and become a Tuner. You will change the world, but whether you change it for the better or worse is undecided. Will you save the world and return the song to what has lost it or will you lead it to sure destruction?
Welcome to the world of Song Tuners! As mentioned before, everything here is very diverse, so places like fantasy castle towns and science fiction spaceships live together in one big world. So there are no real settings limitations on your characters. You may create them to be whoever you wish. Even a song singing crab worshiper. The area you start in will be determined by your background as well, so not everyone will start in the same place, but you'll all meet eventually of course. Now fill out the sheet below and let's get started.

Song Holder: (Most Tuners have something to contain their songs within. Some use instruments, others their voice, and some even use objects irrelevant to music like a sword. Think of it like your signature item you will always have with you.)
Starting Song: (What is the song inside of you? This song should somehow represent your character while also being the first song you have an infinite amount of uses for. Don't worry, you can pick up a few more later on.)
Backstory: (This isn't necessarily required, but it would help me out a lot.)
Please PM me any song suggestions you have for the game as well. I don't want to flood this topic with songs.

Name: Milton Appearance:  Song Holder:  Starting Song: Backstory: Milton is from an ancient tribe of tribal dancers from a tropical island. That island if populated by crabs of all colors and sizes. Milton's tribe mastered the art of charming these crab creatures by using music and tribal dancing. Therefore, Milton's life was populated by rythm and music even before he became a Tuner. He has no social skills and no understanding of other cultures though, which could be a problem. He's pretty much indifferent to everything, but will defend nature at all cost. Milton also has knowledge of certain shamanic rituals. |

...Something about this feels... not correct. But I'm going with this.
Name: Cano (nicknamed Can)
Appearance: A teen with horribly messy brown/orangish hair and light blue eyes. Always wearing a vest styled after a Mexican poncho, baggy jean shorts, a black bandana around his neck, sandals, and a black/golden sombrero.
Song Holder: A pair of maracas, primarily red with yellow and green zigzags across.
Starting Song:
Backstory: In Cano's small yet lively village, he was always known as a wild and rebellious type of person, who some saw as the life of the party while others saw him as a nuisance. One day during a festival, Cano got so impassioned with his usual charisma that he was thrown out of the village by the others for being so damn wild. After a lonely night, Cano attempts to return to the village, but found only gray. Not wanting to live with such a lack of life, Cano sets off to try and find the cause, and how to restore his home.

Backstory: originally a rare sentient flower from the depths of an Underground jungle. She was cursed by a certain cultist to have a kinda human body. She left on a journey to find a way to change back to normal
