Elegra feels a surge of anger, but forces herself to ignore Rachel and continue dancing and playing. If note beasts perhaps respond to passion or enthusiasm... It doesn't matter how stupid it makes her look. Anything for just one more iota of power...

(OOC: Edgar would fit well with Rachel. Forcing Elegra on Rachel's team could make for some nice RP, but I think she would go with Erius.

Gerand watches Elegra the entire time. "...Snrk..." He seems to be containing a laugh...poorly.
As she plays her song, the note dances along with her. It begins playing the song with her as well, reflecting it back at her as other instruments play along. She can even hear singing. The ground around the note begins to freeze as a pillar of ice comes up and surrounds the note, spinning around it. The ice then shatters, sprinkling snow throughout the area.
Standing before Elegra is a little penguin. But this isn't any ordinary penguin. Its feathers are light blue colored and it's wearing...star sunglasses? It seems to like her song, bobbing its head up and down to it. Wherever it walks, it leaves little snow footprints. This is...quite possibly the most adorable Note Beast ever.

Gerand knows that Rachel never smiles... He feels like she almost did.
Faya walks to the penguin, kneeling over it, she looks at Demi and laughs.
Demi: "You're right. He's cute. Let's crush it."
Rachel: "No you won't."
Demi: "You're a horrible master!"
Rachel: "Shut up and go to base. I miscalculated. You're coming on the mission."
Demi: "You are a great master!"
Demi and Faya leave for the base.

Elegra scoops her baby up and clutches it to her chest protectively. She glares at Rachel. "You keep your hammer beast away from my adorable little ice chicken!"
"Wark wark!"
"Now, what is your name...? Edgar. Your name is Ed- no. Vie. Your name is Vie."
Skills:
Gust - Blow freezing air at the target.
Slip - Create a patch of ice under the target's feet.

Gerand walks over to the guild leaders. "Hey, have you guys come to a decision about what to do yet? Not to rush you or anything, but we might want to decide before it gets too late. Exploring at night is dangerous after all."

B-Ball Mage dribbles a basketball while squatting on the floor, pondering. "Yeah, I think I got it. How's about I take the newest new greenie, uh... Elegra? She's got leg in her name! Oh, and how's about I take... Melody? That's good team comp, says the coach. Which is me."
Mars: "...Alright then. Well, I'll mostly let you all pick the rest, although it could work out better if I took Jill. A humanoid Note Beast can sometimes be difficult for a beginner to understand."

Jack notices a Humaniod Note mysteriously appear in the room apperently a little bird dropped it off. While the others are still trying to figure out what to do in terms of teams Jack makes his way to the alter. Jack shrugs and makes his way to the alter to use the note. "Welp i wonder what this will get me," Jack says as he begins to play this tune.

You can have multiple out while at the base. The in story reason is because outside of the base, the corruption from the Symphony Summon can cause you to lose control of them if you don't focus on only one at a time.

But can ones that aren't currently out still be healed or buffed? Seraphoid is supposed to be a healer, but if it can't heal the tank because the two are mutually exclusive then that's kind of a problem.

"Wait, I-" Elegra calls to Rachel as she storms off like she's on her way to punch someone in the face. She looks back to Gerand. "O...K... He- Oh, he's gone. Alright, then. Fine." She pulls the dagger at her waist out, revealing its blade is broken. She considers chucking it away, then sticks it back in. As long as it's sheathed, the hilt's still at least useful for bluffing, y'know?
Elegra carries her adorable baby ice chicken and her mask-cat rides on her shoulders as she wanders around until she finds the training dummies. Then she searches through the available training weapons. Maybe it's because she's in a bad mood, but she decides to take the biggest sword they have. When she's unable to pick that up, she settles for the 2nd biggest, grunting with effort as she picks it up.
She staggers over to a dummy, raises it over her head, and pathetically whacks the dummy. Then she tries drawing it back and using a horizontal slice. She's barely able to get the blade up high enough to nick its chest. She widens her stance and draws back further, then slashes, letting the weight of the sword carry through. Better, but still... Fine, then!
Elegra shambles back several feet, then charges at the dummy with the sword scraping the ground. She shouts and throws herself into a pirouette a few feet ahead of the dummy, stepping and spinning together to swing the sword around twice and convert her charge's momentum into a slash. Good. She has to kick the thing to pull the sword free. She tries again, this time opening her hips and letting her rear foot rise into the air, chased by her other as she leaps and spins around almost horizontally, bringing the blade up, around, and down into the dummy. OK. She's already panting, but this is kinda fun.
