They attack together, but since there's two of them, you can easily develop skills that combo together.

Grapple Smash: Faya grapples the enemy with her whip, while Demi jump in the air while Smashing the enemy with her hammer.
Fire Wrap: Faya wraps her whip around the enemy, while Demi breathes flames to set the whip on fire.

(It was simply an introduction to the fact they can speak and their personality. Most people usually take their Note Beasts from there, but I'm always up for controlling them for you. Either way, you'll still command them in battle. It's just a matter of preference from controlling your own interactions with the Note Beast entirely or having me control an aspect of that interaction. Purely RP stuff and has nothing to do with mechanics.)

Elegra finds that something drops down from above into her hands along with her Ice Note. Looking up to see where it came from, she only notices a little bird flying off toward the horizon. Perhaps the bird dropped the note in her hand...?

"R-right!" Elegra says. "Instrument, instrument..." She fishes around in her pack, and finally produces a worn, dented saxophone. She plays a few squeaking notes to warm up, then finally finds herself satisfactorily warmed up. "So I just place this... Um..." She looks between the two notes, before placing the strange bird-delivered-note on the altar. "And now I just play, right? Something a bit jaunty, I think..." |

As Elegra plays her song, the note begins to quickly bounce along. It plays with her, repeating the song back. Then Elegra notices it feels as if an entire orchestra is playing her song. It's no longer just her instrument. For a moment, the rest of the world fades and it's simply her and the note. As she plays, a wind begins to blow through the area. Flower petals blow around the note and gather around it. A tornado of petals swirls around as the song intensifies. Finally, the petals blow away from each other in a powerful gust of wind, parting to reveal something standing among them.
A pink and white colored cat sits there, cleaning its face with a paw. The main body is pink while the tips of the ears, paws, and tail are white. It has red eyes and at the end of its tail appears to be a blooming flower. The cat also wears a pink masquerade mask on its face. Looking at Elegra, it smiles, revealing sharp teeth.

Elegra scoops up the kitty and holds it at arm's length. They stare into each other's eyes silently for a few seconds.

They both nod at each other and speak at the same time. "Tulip."

She makes sure no one else is watching, then turns to Rachel. "I noticed you were dancing during the... I mean, does that make a... N-nevermind. Just promise you'll never tell anyone about this..." Elegra begins playing a sharp, staccato melody while enthusiastically thrusting and gyrating her hips as she prances about the room. |
