B-Ball Mage snatches up one of each and darts back to Elegra, resisting the temptation to dribble them along the way.
BB: "A'ight, so this is the stuff we got. These bad boys are Notes, and they'll give you a teammate with the skills for a half-court shot! You've gotta pick between a Basic, Blaze, or Ice Note. I rock the Blaze Notes personally, but it's up to you."

"Oh, you... want me to be a summoner...?" Elegra sucks in a deep breath then spits it back out. "OK! I'll also need a weapon and an instrument, right? Sorry, I, uh, didn't exactly come prepared to... um... slam-a-bam. Just getting here was... Well, it's in the past! As for note... I'm feeling that ice note. Unless you're already saturated for ice beasts? I could go with the basic thing if you need.

(You guys realize that Rachel wasn't offering the Double Note, right? I'm pretty sure that's from the Arena Coin shop and she was just offering to show how summoning Note Beasts works using it.)

B-Ball Mage looks over at Rachel. "Well, since we're 'bout to get some new players here, we should let you watch Rachel do the process, yeah? You can follow her, green. Uh... I think I should head back. I was in a huddle, so I should see what's goin' on..." BB heads back to the meeting place.

Melody, having been told to await further instructions alonf with the rest of the recruits, had decided to retire to her shared room.
She sat on her bed, stroking her bow. Diana watched her silently beside her on the bed.
"Diana... I'd like to practice some songs on the harp... Would you care to join me?"
She gives a slight, sulent nod.

Jill goes up to her room with her newest Melody beast Luna (a black luma with a trumpet)
Luna: Mama......now......what
Jill: No idea what's going on all we can do is wait.
Luna: Mama.........okay
Jill: Yeah just a lot going on and it feels like my head is going to explode. How about you Melody and Diane how are you taking in everyrhing so far.
Luna is just kinda of floating around Jill and is looking very concerned

Oh... I didn't even notice them come in... Oh wait, that's a new Note Beast isn't it...? How curious. Mayhaps she received one from a mysterious benefactor as well...

(Alright, so let's work on team composition here. I'm thinking that Yoshi probably wants Jack and Jill to stay together, and I'm thinking it might be interesting to send them with Jonathan as a way to give her a second chance at making a good impression. It's 3 Conductors with no Beastmen so it isn't the most balanced party, but this is also the first mission.)

Rachel: "Alright Elegra, follow me."
Rachel leads Elegra to the altar, where Varon is also waiting, speaking to Gerand. Rachel doesn't say a single additional word to Elegra on the way.
Varon: "Hmm... I'll try to remember that, thank you..."
Rachel: "Okay Elegra. It's simple. You put a note you possess on the altar..."
Rachel places a Double Note on the altar.
Rachel: "...then you take out your instrument, play as song and when you're done you'll be left with a Note Beast."
Rachel place her tambourines on her wrists, then starts dancing, making them shake. With how beautiful she is, you'd expect Rachel to dance gracefully, but it looks more brutal than anything else. After she's done, she looks at Elegra.
Rachel: "And now we wait a few seconds..."

As Rachel plays her song, the note begins to glow and bounce to the beat of the song. It soon begins to play the song back at her and an entire symphony can suddenly be heard playing the song instead of just Rachel. Multiple musical notes begin to float around the area, changing to a dark color. As the notes all come together in one large sphere, they melt into one another, creating a large dark void. The darkness splits apart into two and shifts to take on two humanoid forms. Both have wings sprout from their back and small demon horns come from their head. Claws appear at the ends of their fingers and toes. Their skin is a red color and each one has a long, thin tail with a point at the end. Both of the feminine figures are wearing black armor as well and each one carries a different weapon. One has a chain whip while the other carries a large hammer. In order to help tell them apart a bit better, Rachel notices the one with the whip has long hair while the one with the hammer has shorter hair.
They both look to you and the one with the hammer speaks. "Who is it you need us to punish...?"
The one with the whip laughs a bit.
