The magician considers you for a moment. "You're about my age, I believe - traditionally an apprentice is a bit younger. For the sake of passing on the magic of magic to the next generation. And you said you run a bar? I doubt you care to turn this into a career. Still... I suppose bartender with a few simple tricks may help keep interest in our art alive. Maybe I'll stop by and teach you a thing or two.
Swaltzer Rickenduffle
When you mention being a businessman, Celandine frowns a bit. "I've never really had the right mindset for numbers and accounting and logistics and all that. But Sis is pretty good at it."
When you ask if she's always, she covers her mouth and giggles a bit. "Well, of course not my whole life. But ever since I was old enough, pretty much. Me and Sis both." She laughs again and wraps both arms around your neck, speaking softly. "By the way, are you planning to hold me all night? I'm supposed to be down in the ring talking to viewers and signing autographs. I mean, if you really want to bring me down there and carry me around, I'm not going to complain."
Francis McStein
You decide not to get involved. You start looking for Alethea. You eventually find her by the entrance to the tent. She's holding a notepad covered in comments about the show, and seems to be counting something and making tally marks. Maybe she's trying to guess how many people were in attendance.
When you call out to her, she doesn't turn to face you, still watching people leave and occasionally adding a tally. But she does acknowledge you. "Yeah? You need somethin'?"
Kayla Lyptus
You go join in with several other people surrounding the ringmaster. She's still wearing that sequin-covered leotard, though she's added a red-lined cloak and a fancy hat. The hat doesn't sit on her head, you notice, but stays seated on top of her black-sheep-like hair. She's walking between the different people, shaking hands and exchanging a few pleasant words with each. She's also carrying a few flowers and other similar tokens that people have offered her.
Eventually she gets to you and offers her hand. "Hello, there. I hope you enjoyed the show." Considering the booming voice you remember from before, her voice is surprisingly soft.

Oh Sorry for bothering you. Francis will look for an NPC whos not being swamped and who looks like they actually want to be around people.
(I got a 60 in Libary use thAt (sarcastic yay) has to be good for something and not completely useless)

The magician nods, A very young girl comes running up and he turns to her, producing a small paper rose from behind her ear and handing it to her. She giggles and claps as her parents struggle to catch up. Looks like the conversation's over.

You say goodbye to Alathea after apologizing for existing, and search for someone who doesn't have a fist-sized chip in their shoulder to talk to.

You attempt to use a non-existent library to find them. While imagining this library, a man who looks to be maybe a year older than you accidentally bumps into you. He grabs your shoulder and steadies you. "Oh! Sorry," he says with an apologetic smile.
He's got clean-cut brown hair and he's wearing a set of glasses, as well as slacks and a nice shirt.

"It's fine," Celandine assures you. "If I wasn't OK with it, I would've just flown away." She winks. "Um... Hey, I need to get down there, but... our circus will be in town for a while. If you want to... y'know, dinner or something?"
Kayla Lyptus
The young woman smiles at the compliment. "Well, you're in luck, friend. We'll be doing a training stint right here in Florville for a few weeks. We'll be doing proper shows Saturday nights, and people can come watch us train weekday evenings - except Fridays, everyone has the night off. Sunday, too."

Celandine smiles. "Great!" she says. She produces a white feather with a flick of her wrist and flings it at you. You catch it and notice there's a phone number scribbled on it. She had this prepared...? When you look up, she's leaping down towards the ring, gracefully hopping along the bleachers.

(I shall have my revenge on Althena. I think I shall introduce her to a friend of mine or at least next time I see her Francis is going to go full Catie on her. I will show her as much love and friendship with the subtly of a sledgehammer mahahaha)

Oh that's fine. Was looking for someone to talk to about the circus. So Umm how did you like the show. I thought it was err umm nice and pretty. Sorry I am kinda of shy aroud new people.
