"I see... Thank you for the information."
Kayla will try to spot if there's anyone feeling out of the ordinary in the bar.

You still have time for one more thing this afternoon. The list's still in the second post or something. And this evening there's a special thing at the fair. Or you can go back home.

Kayla Lyptus
The bartender forcefully adds a bar flier to your inventory before you leave. You head over to the lady in the lab coat with the Australian-looking stalker - though he's now holding back more noticeable.
Kayla's Credit Rating check: 76/10 - Failure Kayla's Electronics check: 43/1 - Failure
The lady in the lab coat looks at you with disinterest, bordering on frustration. She lets out a sigh. "Why do people keep insisting on talking to me at this huge, public event...? There's plenty of other people to choose from. I've spoken to more people today than I normally talk to in a week... What do you need?"
You take a look at the weird device in her hands, the one she was obsessively staring at earlier. You don't have the slightest idea what it is.
Francis McStein
You ask the reporter about her name and how she knows so much about the supernatural. She lets out a loud, sarcastic laugh. "HA! Supernatural, she says. Sweetie, you're adorable. It's just a bunch o' freaks in rubber masks." She points her pen to the sky, then brings it down to point at your face. "And the name's Alethea Galatea, ace reporter in training! Don't you dare forget it!" She flashes a confident smile.
The police officer calmly pushes her hand down. "Don't point pens at people so threateningly... I'm Lt. Tana Washington. Like I said, you've got nothing to worry about. The police are working on these cases around the clock. Still, don't go anywhere on your own late at night."
Swaltzer Rickenduffle
You tell sheep-head - though you don't call her that - that she paid, so she gets to pick which prize she wants.
Swaltzer's Charm check: 13/25 - Success
"Oh... Hehe. Such a gentleman." She looks over the prizes for a bit, her eyes sparkling with indecision, before finally choosing...
(Hidden roll)
The cat ears. She laughs and slips them into her hair. The fluffiness of her hair seems to absorb the band itself, leaving the ears sticking up... somewhat convincingly? Well, maybe if it were dark you'd be fooled for a second or two.
She pulls out a small hand mirror and inspects herself with a little giggle. "How do I look? Ha! Pret-ty cute, if I do say so." She considers you for a moment. "Hey, um... I want to thank you, so, uh... Oh! I know! You're planning to go to the big finale, right? What's your name?"
Cyrus Thompson
It's Cyrus time.
Cyrus' Mace check: 98-4-50/50 - Moderate success
You calmly-yet-forcefully storm into the fray. Some guy's stupid enough to swing at you with a sword. You catch it with your shield and swing back at him. Oh, that's... odd. You miss horribly. With an angry scowl, you try again. Now that you've figured out the weight of this thing, it's pretty good for bashing. You smash the guy's shield out of the way, then slam into his chest. He drops over.
You look over the battlefield. Your side seems to have won the advantage in the initial charge. Most of your side's still standing, but a handful of the opponents are already down. Your group's splitting up a bit, forming smaller groups and picking off isolated enemies. You notice that one group is specifically targeting the last round's champion. They seem to be more focused on keeping him busy while the others work than trying to beat him.
You could go group up with some of the others, either to stall the guy or to hunt down enemies. Or you could stay as a lone wolf and try to draw enemies into one-on-one fights. Or...?

Kayla seems quite offended and shows her badge to the scientist:
"Sorry for doing my job. A scientist doesn't show up randomly to a fairground. If you didn't want attention, maybe you should have put civilian clothes.
Anyway, I'm a private investigator...
I was wondering if you knew anything about some kidnappings."

Go for an attack on wherever there seems to be the most struggling. Take down the strongest looking enemies.
By the way, I looked at the rolls and have no idea what they mean. But that's okay. I probably wouldn't get it if you explained it to me.

Tbh, Justice, neither do I. I'm using a character sheet designed for CoC7e but running a 6e game. Because I didn't like how automated the 6e sheets available are. I have no idea how 7e works, but it looks confusing and I can't discern a pattern on passes or fails.
The two important things are the first number of each roll and ignore the rest. You want the rolled number smaller than the target number. Though sometimes you actually want it smaller than half the target number or double or something, if the check's really hard or easy. Most stat checks like strength are 5x the base target. Basically, all that I'm using are the two numbers that I transcribe into the writing, ignore the rest.
...Or if you mean those unlabeled rolls, they were to determine which team had the initial advantage for Cyrus' thing and whether Sheepy took the stuffed sheep, a doofy hat, or the horn.
