Cyrus Thompson
You focus on attacking enemies that are overwhelming your allies. There's a pair trying to gang up on one of your allies that got separated in the charge. You walk up and try to clonk one in the back of the head, but he barely reacts. Instead, he turns and hits you. You try to parry the blow, but he slips past your shield to slam your shoulder with his sword. You answer by smacking him again, and he goes down. Your distraction gives your ally enough time to handle the other.
Someone bashes you in the back of the head. Ow. The armor absorbs the worst of it and you barely stumble. After dealing with the little punk, you take stock of the battle. Your side's got the clear advantage, and you're mostly mopping up the last few enemies. However, the big guy's still standing. He's taken down the ones that were stalling him and he's moving to find another group of enemies.
The guy you helped looks at you for direction, as well.
Swaltzer Rickenduffle
Sheepy mutters to herself. "Swaltzer... Swaltzer... Hm... I can't decide if I like it. Well, either way. We can talk more later, OK?"
Kayla Lyptus
The scientist groans at you. "Of course I wore my lab coat to do research. It's not my fault they built a fairground here. Or decided to hold a big festival right on top of a massive anomaly. The morons planning this waste of time should've accounted for that. And why are you asking me about that...? Why would I know anything about that? You should ask the parents."

Alright, lets team up to take down the big guy. Have Cyrus' ally distract him before Cyrus runs in from behind and lands a blow to the big guy's head. Hopefully, that will knock him out. Wait...we're trying to knock him out, right? Knock him down? Same thing. Hit hard.

So Ms. Altena if the prevouis reports of the supernatural were just people running around with rubber masks why are you sure this vengeful ghost is going around killing people?

You grab your new friend and tell him to distract the big guy so you can bash him in the back of the head like a big hero. He walks up and manages to get the guy's attention. As they square off, you charge at his back and swing your mace...
Cyrus' mace attack: 100/50 - Critical Failure (and also minimum damage - really Justice? Why you do this?)
Cyrus' parry: 86/50 - failure
Another member of his team trips you mid-attack. Your target notices and whirls around, easily batting your attack away before returning one of his own. Ow.
Cyrus' mace attack: 72/50 - failure
Cyrus' parry: 91/50 - failure
Cyrus' mace attack: 1/50 - critical hit (JUSTICE. STOP.)
You trade blows with him for a bit. You have a hard time getting past his guard, but he manages to land blows consistently. You finally start to get a bit annoyed and bash his shield aside before clanging hard against his chest. He looks rather annoyed himself and bashes you with his shield, which is as much as you can take.
In the end, your team managed to win, in no small part thanks to you keeping the most experienced fighter busy for so long. After the fight, while you're being helped out of your armor, the champion comes up to you. You notice he's still wearing the full set. "Hrmph. Unpolished, untrained... but you have potential. You would make a fine squire. If you want to learn to be a proper knight, you can contact me. I don't carry one of those confounded cell phones, but some of the others know how to reach me."
Swaltzer Rickenduffle
"Celandine!" the sheep-headed girl says as she starts to run off. "Don't forget, OK?"
Well, it looks like she's gone... And it's evening. The big show's going to start soon, if you want to go. Or you could leave, though most things in town are closed.

Alethea looks angry. "Hey! Are you listening to a thing I'm saying? Clean out your ears and listen up! Of course it's not any ghost or something, that's just what the crackpots who keep calling into the station keep saying! And it's Alethea! Al-lee-thee-uh! Get it right!"
Tana glares at her. "Be nice," she reprimands her. She turns back to you. "And as for you... You gave that cat sushi? Isn't that the stray that hangs around the pet shop? We've been getting reports and animal control's been trying to catch him for weeks, but he always runs off. He's a stray. People like you need to stop feeding him!" She wags her finger at you disapprovingly.
The cat squirms out of your arms and runs away. You lose sight of him in the crowd.
Kayla Lyptus
The scientist lady looks annoyed. "First of all, a creature can't defy science. If something 'defies' science, that just means our current understanding is insufficient and we need to improve it. Second, I'm not a biologist." That last word is laced with a noticeable amount of venom. "But if it's a truly alien creature that seems to violate some law of physics or studying it would somehow... help... hm... Maybe I should reconsider studying certain animals..." She seems to be considering things. You could try to push the issue, if you think she may be a valuable resource.

Hand him a flyer. Then hand him about five more. Tell him to celebrate his future victories at the bar and to tell his friends about it. Then ask another one of the knight guys whats up with this dude.
Roll credit and intimidate.

(To officer) Aww I was going to take good care of him too and him and my pet kitty Mr. Paws and Claws were going to be good friends. But I had no idea he was a famous strAy all I know was he followed me after I gave him Sushi aND he seemed friendly enough. Yet why all the fuss over a simple kitty.
(To Alethena) Bow down and put hands together. I am so sorry I am really bad with remembering things names and stuff. The chem lab is a great place but unfortunately it's not a very social place. Please forgive me i am soooo sorry

The guy puts his hands up defensively. "Hey, man, take it easy. I don't know too much about him, other than he gets really into character. He doesn't usually hang out with the rest of us after performances, either. Just kind of comes and goes. He showed up one day, asked to join... He's pretty tough and really knows his stuff, so he sort of naturally became sort of a leader. If you want to know about him, you should ask him directly."

The scientist's frown somehow gets even bigger. "No, I want to prove them right." She freezes as she realizes she's said more than she meant to. "...I need to go analyze this data." She shoulders past you and starts to leave.
You notice her stalker-friend seems very interested in what she just said.

Tana shakes her head. "It's not like we're giving him any more attention than other strays, he just has a name for himself because he keeps getting away. He probably doesn't have rabies or anything, but it's still a public health hazard. He'll be taken to an adoption center and checked out, don't worry about it," she assures you.
Alethea looks a bit uncomfortable. "Yeah, well, I'll let you off. This time."
