Pingle launches the tiger into the air, then rips him down and impales him on a thornvine dome. The force of the blow is enough to break through the vines and send the corpse crashing into Pingle. The dome absorbs the brunt of the impact, but she takes light damage.
Zyrkan throws his jetpack at the lion and shoots it. It explodes in the lion's face. The lion roars and leaps on Zyrkan, tackling him to the ground and slashing his chest with his claws. The lion's face is mangled and bloody, but he's still roaring at Zyrkan while standing over him and attacking mercilessly. The red aura is glowing brightly enough to illuminate the room.
Zyrkan's armor is moderately damaged. Pingle is moderately injured. The lion is critically wounded.

Zyrkan will try grabbing a piece of the chandelier to stab the lion's neck.
If he gets freed, he'll rapid fire point blank and Pingle will surround one of her vines around the lion's tail and transform the vine into a thornvine.
If Zyrkan doesn't get free, Pingle will Beanstalk launch the lion.

Zyrkan fumbles for anything he can smash into the lion and finally finds a broken chunk of metal. The lion slashes his armor again before Zyrkan stabs him the the neck. The lion lets out one final roar before collapsing on Zyrkan. The aura fades and the room is left in darkness, and Zyrkan is left wedged under a large lion.
A loud click comes from the direction of the far door.
Zyrkan's armor is badly damaged and stuck under a lion corpse. Pingle is moderately wounded. No enemies are present. The door to the goal is unlocked.

Zyrkan scans for traps. He's not able to detect any. He spends some time trying to dislodge himself from underneath the dead king. He finds a key while he's doing so, but he already let the wolf priestess out, so...
Pingle opens the door while she waits. Inside she finds a marble staircase that should lead directly to the entrance to the throne room. The same red-eyed, black-haired maid is waiting immediately behind the door. She offers a bow. "Congratulations on completing your trial, Miss Pingle, Mr. Zyrkan," she says in a quiet monotone. "The Demon Lord is waiting above. If you are prepared, I shall escort you."
She doesn't seem hostile... There's also enough room that you could ignore her and walk past.

It's basically "you completed it but as a formality have an option to go explore the rest of the floor if you wanted to, for some reason."

Zyrkan and Pingle will ignore her and continue.
(I'll stop there, Zyrkan is strong but too limited to move forward)

Zynkar and Pingle ascend the stairs without acknowledging the maid. She follows silently behind them until they arrive in an opulent room of white marble and golden embroidery. Two doors besides the one the party came from lead back towards the manor. Their guardians - a red-haired woman in a black dress and a pudgy man in a chef's uniform - nod to the heroes as they approach. On the other side is a massive oak door covered by a large seal. The maid reaches up and dispels it with a wave of her hand, then pushes the door open. A half-dozen maids and butlers line the entrance, bowing to the two heroes. A crimson rug runs along a black-and-white checkered floor, up a short staircase, and ends at an empty throne. Two figures stand beside the empty throne... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

Scenario: Shipwreck B Participants: Malefio (4) Current Bid: 10 Coins Mission 1: 2+ Characters Escape the Ship Alive Difficulty: ***** (Average)
Another blast rocks the UNC Ishikawa. The survivors, holed up in the bridge, know the ship is doomed. The entire rest of the ship is under the control of those... things. Ship systems are failing one by one. Catastrophic damage to the hull from all the blasts as they destroy... everything they can. Steering offline, weapons offline, engines offline, shields offline, life support at critical levels... It's just a matter of time, and not much at that.
They bring up a flickering hologram of the ship with the last of the power. It looks like all the nearby escape pods are already jettisoned. Most of them launched empty by the infected crewmen in an act of sabotage.
Looks like there's a working shuttle in the hanger... But with all the hull breaches, they'll have to cut through medical to get there. And medical's crawling with those things. The infection ruined their minds, but made them bigger, faster, and stronger, too...
Or, it looks like there's a bay of escape pods still left on the far side of engineering. Lots of damage in there, it'll be a maze of ruined systems...

(Ha, I have a Dead Space mission planned... It should show up soon for the next person signing up...)
Alright... I'm not GM here, so I'll play it safe.
Have Balrog in front, since he's followed by flames. In a corridor, enemies won't be able to pass him. If something clombs on Balrog, he'll just throw the creature off of him.
Isaac in second, aiming through Balrog's legs with his Plasma Cutter ready. Shoot any enemies that manages to resist the heat and get under Balrog. Of course, Isaac will aim at the limbs.
Barry in third. He'll walk and be on standby.
Kayamba in last. He'll do a defense + dance. (Note: Kayamba's dances are interrupted if he's hit.)

The party gets into formation and opens the bridge door. One of those... things immediately leaps in and attacks.
It latches onto the balrog, oblivious to the burning pain. It bites down on the Balrog's thick hide, even as its face is seared. Even the fallen Maiar's hide is not enough to resist the fangs. Balrog attempts to throw the thing off, but it stretches its arms out just for the Balrog, preventing it from being flung away. Isaac quickly takes a few shots at the stretchy arms, allowing Balrog to fling it against the far wall. It stops moving after the impact, freezing in mid-air before slowly sliding to the floor while releasing a sound like a sad trombone and leaving behind a streak of blood.
Nothing else seems to be in the immediate area. The corridor right outside the room splits. A sign points to the medical/hanger route to the left, and the engineering route to the right.
Balrog has a minor injury.

Balrog will cut down the creature woth his fire sword, then the party will keep moving in formation towards the engineering bay.
Kayamba will do a healing dance.

The Balrog proceeds to mutilate the corpse, just to be sure. He reaches a point where even the most suspicious individual would be sure it's dead while Kayamba dances.
When the party's ready, they cautiously proceed towards engineering. There's a sound of skittering within the walls, but nothing's readily attacking them.
They reach engineering and find the blast doors have been sealed. A nearby wall readout confirms there hasn't been any massive hull breach or radiation leak within that would have triggered an automatic lockdown, so this is clearly an act of sabotage.
The door's override panel is smashed and sparking with electricity. It could probably be repaired, with some time and know-how. There's a wall vent nearby that, according to the map, should lead past the door - maybe the override panel on the other side still works? Kayambala could fit easily enough. Allen could probably squeeze through with some difficulty, and Issac could, too, though his armor would be scraping against the walls the whole way. The blast door's tough, reinforced to withstand the pressures of a massive hull breach, but enough force could still blow it away or pry it open.
There's also the option to turn back the other way.
