Hmm that dream felt so weird and that snake. Well whatever that snake will learn not to mess with me again. Anyways this bruise though and this feeling. Maybe I should get it looked at.


Francis calls her boss and asks to use a sick day. Explain she is going to the doctor because of some strange injury.

Kayla will take care of her Koala and quickly prepare herself before going to her office.

Kayla

You make sure the koala's doing OK, then head to the office. You check the mail and answering machine... bills, prank call, wrong number, a few annoying people you need to call back... Nothing handy for the case, anyway. Oh, well. At least you can get this busy work knocked out and get back to the investigation in the afternoon. While you're writing some stuff up, you get a call from the police office, following up on a request for some information you put in related to the case. The tire track analysis was... inconclusive, at best. Really common stuff. But you do get the idea of heading down sometime and asking them to pull records on that pistol.


Ignatius

You manage to get all the food back home, then head back to the gym and do a brief workout, followed by a nice shower. You get some dirty looks from some of the other customers, but the staff seem sympathetic enough - other than one manager who always glares at you really hard.

It's noon by the time you're done. What to do this afternoon...?

Head to Midtown. You notice that you pass a badass-looking guy on a motorcycle.


Cyrus

You arrive at the Cajun-Creole Clamshack and park your bike out front. You practically kick open the door, then go back and open it politely. Nothing's more badass than proper manners. You take a seat at the bar and an attractive young woman in a light blue skirt and blouse with a small hate and a white apron comes up to take your order. "Mornin', Sugar. What can I getcha? Start you off with a cup o' coffee?"

You tell her you want the spiciest thing on the menu. Without milk.

"Oh... Hm. Just a sec, OK?"

She disappears into the kitchen and comes back a minute later. "The jambalaya's still cookin'. It'll be a few minutes' wait if you want it, or I could fry you up some eggs and spicy sausage?"

Kayla will go have the pistol analyzed.

"I don't normally go out to eat. I run a bar Midtown, the Drunken Ferret. Normally I just cook for myself, but I had some free time today before a meeting with someone. So I decided why not,go out and eat?"
