You look up Bairbre. You can't find too much. You do manage to find a handful of little blurbs about her, some pictures... Yep. That's Bairbre, all right. Pretty much everything you find about her is in connection to the circus. Looks like she joined the circus when she was about 16, alongside her sister, Celandine. She started out working odd jobs, then became an acrobat. Took over as ringmaster after the other died at 20. Lots of people quit, she did some major reorganization and re-branding... She seems pretty well-respected. And she's known for still doing her acrobatics routine with her sister.

Something doesn't feel quite right. A few of the articles have slightly different dates. You try changing up your search parameters a bit. You luck out and find a missing persons report for the Ward sisters from... 30 years ago. A pair of twin sisters that disappeared from an orphanage at the age of 10.

Unfortunately, you're unable to find the full report online. You'll need to get your hands dirty on this one. Other than the date, it mentions that it was issued in Nebraska. There's a picture of the children, as well as aged-up estimations of what they would look like.
One of the kids... kinda maybe sorta look like what you guess Celandine might have looked like as a kid? You don't know Bairbre well enough to judge the other. As for the aged-up versions, you could believe that's maybe Celandine's mom and aunt?

See, when you say "call some people," my immediate thought is that you're going to grab a phone book, flip to a random page and throw a dart at it, then end up calling some random middle-class family at midnight to try to convince them to do this.

Oh umm sorry Mr. Koopa I was at the hospital. I woke up with a really bad bruise and my chest was really sore. They ran some test and everything appears to be fine.
