You jump off the cliff, expecting it to be a trick.
You fall through the air, expecting it to be a trick.
You approach the water, really waiting for the trick.
Then you slam into the water. OW.
Celandine gracefully dives into the water next to you. She pops back up, tossing her hair back. "Hehehe. So much fun, right?"

"Not fair. I don't know the last time I went to the bathroom, either, but you aren't gonna drag me off to-" You start dragging her away. "No, the data..." she whines. "At least lock the door..."
You drag her to the on-campus sandwich place. And sit her down to eat. Fortunately, she seems to be in a much better mood. She takes a huge bite out of her cheesesteak. "So... We're on a date or something?" she asks.

You see a beach with a gentler slope waaaay off in the distance, but it's quite a swim.

"Oh. Did you want to do something else?" Delia asks. "I don't go on many dates. I... don't think. Should we go to a movie? Or at least take the sandwiches and eat them somewhere more romantic?"

It's then you realize that Celandine is no human. She's clearly a demon. A monster. ...Or a really good joker.

"Oh, so... You don't want to date me? Wait. Are you breaking up with me?" Oh, this just got awkward. She pauses and looks through her book. "...Oh. We aren't dating. You're a test-subject-slash-assistant. A cute test subject, but still a test subject. ...But are you trying to date me? Or is this a strictly professional relationship? Because I'm not sure if you noticed, but I'm not like most girls. I can't really pick up on flirting. So if you're interested in me, you need to be direct about it."

You take out the beans and offer some to the pixie. She takes one half the size of her head. "Hmmm..." It takes her a few tries, but she manages to get a good bite of it. "Mmmm. This is kinda sweet, but really... I dunno. Tasty! What is it!?"
