The demon responds back. "Hmm...A trade of magic for something? Very well, human. What do you propose?"
Ace stares, wide eyed. "DUDE, what? You know how to negotiate with those things?"
Auri then speaks. "Well done, Master. You seem to be getting the hang of this. But this negotiation isn't over yet. If you can convince the demon to let you live, that's great, but you can also try and get him to give you something else. Don't mess up though. If you do, he might decide your soul is more valuable than what you're trading."
A. "I want power."
B. "I want money."
C. "I want an item."
D. "I want a skill."
E. "I want magic."
F. "I want to forge a contract."
G. "I want you to leave."

I'm thinking either E or G. E gives us a way to defend ourselves without taking the souls of innocent people, but G gets us out of this fight.

"Trading magic for magic? Very well. I will teach you some in exchange for your knowledge." The demon speaks in a language you cannot understand as a new power flows through you...
Claw - Once per day you may shift one hand into a demonic claw. Provides a boost in strength and can cut through most metals. Only works for one turn before reverting.
"This knowledge has been valuable. Perhaps we shall meet again, human." The demons disappear within dark voids as they came.
Ace looks around. "Uh...Did...Did we win?"
Auri then speaks. "Well done, Master. It seems you already discovered how to speak with demons and negotiate with them. Or perhaps you already knew. A fragmented memory somehow. Regardless, I'm impressed with your work."
"Listen, phone lady, you better explain some stuff 'cause those dudes were real creepy."
"Let's continue on with your Save and Load abilities. As you know, Saving is something of a checkpoint in your real life. Once you use it, you can return to that moment whenever you like. However, once you Save again, you overwrite your previous Save and you'll be stuck moving from that point onwards. More interesting is the Load ability. This is what takes you to your last Save. While it resets most things, it's interesting to note that neither you nor I will be affected when you Load. Both of us will retain our memories of what happened. Not only that, but your inventory, skills, magic, and contracts will not reset either. Your current state might, however. For example, if you lose an arm, you can gain it back with a simple Load. Just keep in mind, once you save, there's no turning back. That's all the basics. Any questions?"

Even if you don't follow whatever purpose they exist for. And I will be here to guide you through whatever path you choose."
"Dude, can I get cool powers?" Ace seems interested in this now that he isn't freaking out.
A. "Sure. Just make a deal with a demon."
B. "Sure. Just become a demon."
C. "Sure. Just become an amnesiac."
D. "Sure. I'll help you."
E. "You shouldn't be so quick to want something like this. Think about the cost."
F. "No, you can't."
