Your name is...Xavier. That's right. Your an eighteen year old male. Tall, with dark hair. Somewhat thin and with a well shaped face. Your eyes...they were brown. Rather average. But you remember...you're particularly skilled with tricks. Yes, you are a skilled deceiver. Your hands are adept and dexterous. whether it comes to picking someone's pockets or simple magic tricks, you knew how to do it well. You were even capable of opening locks given the right materials.
...Your head hurts. You feel dizzy...
Everything seems to be fading. Perhaps for now...you should just rest...
Is someone there...?
When you start to come to, you feel a strange warmth around you. Hm? You seem to be in a bed. The sheets are soft and clean. You sit up and take a look around the room. Your head still hurts a bit and you still feel somewhat dizzy. It doesn't seem like you'll be doing anything that requires a lot of coordination for a bit. Perhaps for now it would be best just to get your bearings. How exactly did you get here though...?
You inspect the area. The clean, white bed you're sitting in is warm. How long exactly were you out? Your clothes seem to have been replaced with some basic clothes. Just a simple white shirt with...oh, you don't have any pants on. Your dirty clothes seem to be gone. Where did they go? A warm fireplace crackles nearby. You also notice some warm tea sitting on the table by your bed. The room seems to be made mostly of wood. It has a very home-y feel to it. The door leading out of this room stands out a bit with its dark green coloring. You don't see anyone in here, but you hear what sounds like humming coming from outside of the door. Hm...? There's a deck of playing cards on the side table as well. They look a bit familiar. Yes, you believe you had them in your pocket when you passed out. There's also a phone with a shattered screen sitting there too. It looks pretty broken.

Sounds good. We may be able to use the cards, the tea is probably for us, and if they've left tea out for us then they're probably friendly and will likely come back to check on us. |

You pick up your playing cards and decide to take them with you. They might be useful later. And besides, they are yours. You then take a sip of the tea sitting at your bedside. It's actually very nice. The flavor is slightly sweet and the warmth moves throughout your body. You feel rejuvenated and your dizziness seems to fade. Your headache is also a bit weaker now. You then place the empty tea cup back down on the table and lay back down in the bed, waiting a bit.
It doesn't take long before what looks like a woman around her mid forties walks in. She wears some simple clothes as well, sticking to a yellow shirt with brown pants. Her brown hair is worn up in a bun and you notice she has green eyes. She's short and plump, but smiles as she goes about her work, humming to herself. She seems to be carrying your clothes. They're all clean now. She notices you're awake and walks over to you. "Oh, you're alright. Thank goodness. I was so worried when I found you passed out in the street. Now, I don't approve of underage drinking, especially not until you're passed out in the street, but I couldn't leave you lying there. You poor thing. Your parents must be worried sick about you. So I took you here and decided to let you rest a bit until you felt a bit better." She hands you your clothes. "You might want these as well."

"Thank you." You take the clothes and hold onto them. "I...don't remember who my parents are. Or anything, really."
She seems shocked. "Oh, you poor dear! Don't worry, I'll help you find them. I'll speak with the police and see if they can help at all. What was your name again?"
"All I remember is my first name, Xavier."
"Alright, Xavier. I'll see how I can help you. They must be so worried about you."
"Does anyone else live here?"
"Hm? Oh, no, it's only me here. This room used to belong to my son, but he already went off to college, so now I use it as a guest room. You remind me of him in a way. You're both so handsome and polite. I'm sure you're quite the catch with the ladies." She smiles. "It's only me here, so feel free to use the house as you will. I'm going to be downstairs, tidying up the shop a bit. When you feel like you've gathered yourself, come on down." She waves to you and heads out of the room.
It looks like you're free to do what you like for now.

You change into your clean clothes. There, much better. Now you can actually go out into public. They're warm. They must have only recently been dried. You then pick up the empty tea cup and decide to bring it with you. Perhaps you could use it later or maybe help out with the dishes as a way of saying thanks.
