You head back to your room and drop off the objects you have that you cannot fit in your pockets on the bed. The Basic Shirt, Empty Tea Cup, Family Picture, and Mystery Book are all placed in a messy pile together. You keep the Knitting Needles and Playing Cards on you, however. With your hands finally free, you then head back out of the room and take the stairs downward.
Once downstairs, you take a quick look around. This is...a jewelry store...!? Multiple bracelets, rings, and necklaces are on display with a shiny glow and various gems in them. You see the woman from before humming as she goes about a reorganizes some things. She then notices you here and turns. "Oh, you're feeling a bit better now, I see. You definitely look like you're feeling a lot better. This is my store, by the way. All of these are handcrafted. I spend a lot of time making things to sell here. I saw you looking at them. Now then, you must be hungry. It is a little late, after all. How about I cook us up something to eat? You don't need to worry about your parents for now. I already called the police and they said they're working on searching for them. Besides, you shouldn't be out late right now. You need your rest to recover. I'll just finish up organizing these rings and I'll get right to work on supper."
Hm...she's not looking at you right now.

She smiles. "Some help would be really nice. Thank you, Xavier."
You help her sort the rings out a bit and while you work, you ask her a question. "What was your name, by the way?"
"Oh my, it seems I forgot to tell you. Sorry about that. My name is Jennifer. It's unlike me to forget such manners."
"It's alright. You've already done plenty for me, so there's no need to worry about being rude."
She seems happy with your response and enjoys your help and company with organizing the rings. "Alright, that's all of them. Now I can go get started on supper. I hope you don't mind pasta. It's all I really have right now. Well, I suppose I could go to the store. Is there something else you would like?"
A. "Don't worry about me. I'm not picky."
B. "I actually enjoy pasta."
C. "Could you buy something different at the store?"
D. "I'll go buy something from the store."
E. "Did your son like pasta?"
F. "Actually, I think I want to go home now."

It seems she forgot to put up the close sign. And she didn't lock the door. Her thoughts must be focused on you right now.
