What is the 2017 Death Gauntlet?
The Death Gauntlet has 30 opponents fight each other in waves of 10 individuals. The waves end when 2 individuals are left alive. These two will be removed from the arena and return for the fourth wave where the 6 wave survivors will come back until only one of them is left standing. The winner takes the grand prize of 90 arena coins. Every wave survivor will get 10 arena coins.
How do I sign-up?
Up to 10 players can sign-up, but there probably won't be 10 players. All you have to do to sign-up is PM the three characters you want to play as, their entrance theme and their victory theme. The order on which you sign them up will affect the wave they are in. Be wary of the order you list them in, cause the NPCs opponents will be harder in the two later waves. You can sign-up in here if you want, but you'll lose the element of suprise of which characters you use. I'd suggest you PM me.
When will the Gauntlet happen?
There's a reason I'm making this now. My last LARPing weekend for the year is October 20 to 22. This means you have until October 19th to sign-up and the Gauntlet will start on the 23rd.
I engage myself in finishing this Gauntlet or I'll remove all my arena coins myself.
If by some cruel twist of fate an NPC wins, I guess I'm getting the 90 arena coins.
