Clyde let's out a puff of air as he shrinks down in size and gets closer to the two Pidgeys. Markus' eyes glow blue as he splits into three different Markuses. The two Pidgeys are confused. One tries to attack Markus, but just passes through a copy and hits a tree. The other Pidgey tries to peck Clyde, but Clyde is too small and quickly floats around it.

Clyde returns to full size and wraps himself around the Pidgey, squeezing it. The Pidgey thrashes about, but is unable to escape Clyde's grasp as he Constricts tighter. The other Pidgey frantically flaps around, trying to peck the correct Markus, but can't tell the real one from the fakes. Markus then ensnares the Pidgey in a Confusion, lifting it up and slamming it into the ground before tossing the Pidgey at the other Pidgey. They both disappear in the usual way. AUTO MISSION

Charcoal continues running along the forest before a similar feeling to when he was first here happens. He quickly trips over a Wurmple and lands flat on his face. The enraged Wurmple runs forward and stings his foot. Charcoal grabs his foot and jumps backward in pain.

Charcoal: Ouch! I'll squash you, bug!

Charcoal quickly hits the Wurmple back with his tail before running up to it and kicking it. The Wurmple is sent flying far away until Charcoal can't see it. He then quickly turns around and begins to walk away before a flash of light happens. Charcoal's badge changes numbers from five to six as he feels suddenly stronger.

Charcoal: Huh? What was that? Weird...

Charcoal then continues to walk along the path in search of the Chickorita.
