It's a bit lacking in damage for my tastes, but I have a tendency to run high-damage parties so take that with a very large chunk of salt. It may have some trouble early when TP for healing, ailments, and buffs feels like it's at more of a premium and you can't blow everything in every random battle. But it's a good setup for fighting strong enemies and bosses with solid late-game potential.

I thought DEAD was a Ronin? Here ya go: vitcon.boards.net/post/76872...Though you're free to change him to Shogun if you want. But you'd need to level Raise Morale to level 3 to unlock Fore Honor.

But it's a good setup for fighting strong enemies and bosses with solid late-game potential. Is that something that could theoretically be fixed with subclasses or is it more that Peri's the only one with the stats to do decent damage? In that case I suppose Beast would be the best option for a tank since it looks like the best one offensively and I could always see if there's a better option for buffs than Troubador which also has some offensive potential.

Troubador's the best buffer, hands down. They can add elemental damage to a character's attacks with Preludes, and their Reverb ability copies all buffs on someone to someone else, which gives you some interesting potential combos moving self-buffs around the team... Hm.
Dancer would give you a bit more physical attack potential but not as good buffing. It'd especially hurt losing the Elemental Prelude and Reverb skills.
You could definitely change things with sub and master classing. I don't think you actually need to change anything if you don't want to. You'll have a slower start, but you'll be able to rely on NPCs and the other guilds to back you up early on.

A Yggdroid Ronin subclassed with Dancer would have insane basic attack potential...

TP costs are added to your skills on the character sheet. I should add it to the skill lists, but... lazy. I also need to add the other classes Fuzz wanted to see. But all that can wait, time for the first post.
Oh, right, DEAD's skills... Eh. I'm gonna start writing and what happens happens.

Remember that Stances are... basically passive abilities. They aren't use directly. If you want to actually activate the stance, you'll need to buy and use certain attacks.
Again, you can keep it as-is, but figured you'd want a chance to change it.

You only need 1 point in the stance to buy the activating skill. The activating skills are all the first thing you unlock in the chain. So Upward Slash activates Upper Stance, Charging Thrust for Clear Stance, etc.

It won't be terribly long before you add your second character to your guild. Well, you can choose not to if you really want to think about it more. But it seems like most of ya'll have at least an idea for your second.
You'll work with 2 for a while, then add 3 and 4 together once the introductory stratum's done and everyone's on their first solo mission. And #5 once you're done with that.

Sounds good, in fact I think I've already got the whole party planned out as far as initial class, race, and personality (Peri, creepy Deep One Necromancer with a sarcastic side, innocent child Forest Folk Botanist, Saber-Tooth Tiger Beast, and womanizing Earthian Troubador). To add to that the Troubador is the only one i don't have a name for, although I'm still deciding for sure if I want to go with a fish pun for the Deep One or find something more Lovecraftian to call him.
