Guild Ooze Cruise

Sam crouches down and pats Matty on the head.  "Of course, little one.  I'm still not sure how I feel about someone so young heading into the labyrinth, but at least I can make sure you get properly trained."

Move to the Forsaken Forest once you finish with the skills.

"The location of clean drinking water has been confirmed." Wolf shows his map to her. "Furthermore, when we found the water, there was a strange Therian that attacked us. We don't know why and all he could say was a collection of animalistic noises. After knocking him out, we carried him back here. We should heal his wounds and question him for information."

"And there was a squirrel meanie!"

"Ah, yes. We discovered a new FOE. It was similar to the squirrels from before, but this one was an undead version. A...zombie squirrel." Wolf realizes this sounds ridiculous.

Fuzz, Kitty

Mu looks at the two injured adventurers.  "Hmph...  I know these two.  They're members of the Dark Wind guild.  That Dark Huntress who was here before is, as well."  She grabs a passing Therian.  "Hey.  When Sassy gets back, tell her to come see me."

"Yes, ma'am," he says.

Mu turns back to the two of you.  "Interesting.  Those two disappeared a few weeks ago.  Just up and walked into the forest, like so many others.  So they were still alive, huh?  Maybe some others are, too.  But they attacked you, and monsters were fighting alongside them?  How very strange."  She points at more passing adventurers.  "You lot!  Take care of these two, but make sure they're restrained.  The rest of you, wait here.  I'm going to go report this to the captain."


Fuzz

Aria slightly turns to glance at Finn from the corner of her eye.  "She used to be a member of Guild Wardog.  Used to be.  Until she almost got a lot of killed.  On a training run, no less."

"Yeah, well, I thought you were tougher.  I already apologized," Liandra says.

"Hmph...  We'd have been dead if we hadn't been lucky enough to run into the Heavy Arms guild."

"Yeah, yeah.  Whoops, my bad..."  Liandra plays it off.  "We all screw up sometimes.  And in case you forgot, I almost died, too.  Perfectly good reason for your fancy-pants guild to toss someone out while they're still learning!"

"You're a just a time bomb waiting to go off!  A lunatic!"  Aria snarls.

Liandra and Aria are literally growling at each other as they start leaning forward.


Fuzz, Kitty

Mu comes back soon enough.  "Alright.  Here's what you missed.  We're going to be treating this the same way we used to handle running the labyrinth. The captain will be overseeing this operation.  He'll be issuing missions.  Rookie adventurers will be forming guilds.  We'll also be setting up a traditional economy with ental and whatnot.  Since most of your fleet sank, equipment's in high demand.  Some people are going to set up some stores and start making stuff.  Bring monster parts and sell them to us.  We're also going to let people start issuing special requests, but that's going to take a while.  For now, you're all done for the day.  You're some of our most experienced right now, so let the others do some work.  Go rest up while we figure out what we're doing next.  It's going to be a busy few days.  Oh, before I forget.  You'll receive a reward for today's mission, official or not.  But it's going to take time to get together with everything else that's happening.  Come see me in the morning."

Looking around the area, there's not much to do right now.  You can talk to some of the NPCs, or head straight to bed.

I think I was going to have my characters interact, but, like, there's not even a bar, is there?

S L E E P

Peri yawned, the short yet eventful trip into the Labyrinth having worn her out. "I believe we would all do well with some rest."
Finn shrugged in response. "Eh, I'll go to bed in a bit. Good night, sleep tight, don't let the Night Fiend bite."
At this, Lily cocked her head. "The Night what?"
Peri glared at Finn. "It's nothing but an old legend. Supposedly long ago there was a monster who sought to bring ruin to a town. They came in the dead of night and snatched people away until one fateful evening a hero rose up to stop them. I'm not sure why Finn feels the need to bring such a ghastly tale up, especially since we've all already had a rather difficult day."
"I dunno, I guess I've just always found it to be an interesting story. You ever wonder what could make someone do all of that?"
"Not particularly, nor is it of much importance. Even if the Night Fiend was real they've been gone for at least a century. Good night."
Peri, Lily, and Fluffykins all left to go to the sleeping quarters leaving Finn standing alone.
"..."
(Alright, that'll be about it for this night. Finn isn't exactly doing anything exciting, so just skip to morning where I'll give my group a post of them waking up.)
