Your group starts heading west and almost immediately runs into Zenia and her group. Zenia's still staring at the sky. She seems upset. Some pretty lady's teasing that Yggdroid Wolf fought with before.

Sam, Wolf, that little plant-girl, and the two creepily similar siblings turn around and walk towards you. Zenia's still staring at the sky and frowning after the giant laser beam.

"If you believe the rumors, anyway. We've not been able to see the exact source, but it would have to be coming from the upper branches somewhere," the Birdfolk says. "'This whole disaster is divine punishment from the great tree for not showing it the proper respect,' they say. Bah. All I know is that anyone who goes to investigate never comes back."
The Yggdroid turns and continues leading you due east while Birdie continues. "So Li'l Gren here presumably came for her father, but why'd the rest of you sign up for some suicide mission?"
"Well, I'm a member of Guild Wardog, and-"
"Hm. I know that. Your whole guild has a reputation. I was talking to the rest of them." She looks to Finn, Terry, and Allure.

Continue past them. "Hey, best not to stand around. Another enemy could attack at any minute." Luna says this as they pass.

- 1 year ago, bad thing happen to town
- Bunch of people go check on town
- None come back
- You (rookies) and some experienced adventurers go check on town
- Bad thing happen to boats
- Experienced adventurers grab some rookies and go to town to find thing making bad thing happen to boat to kill it before it kill boat
- Proceed to faffing about in town instead of finding the bad thing
- Team Aria/X/Fuzz went to go find survivors
- Team Zenia/Blood/Mal went and found some tea and supplies
- Team Sam/Kitty ran into an ambush and opened a shortcut through town

- You went outside and 'nother bad thing happened (LASER BEAM!) and blew up one of the boats and you all stared at it annnnnd then you started thinking about what to do next

Well its kinda of hard to explain really what it is. I mean when I transform into a full demon I can unleash a whole bunch of strong attacks. Yet well this is how I usually appear when I am not in Fafnir state.
I guess you could say I am half demon or something like that.
(She is very matter of factly and completely casual in her explanation.)

Finn loses interest almost immediately.
"Oh, so it's not some kind of demon sealed in you? Well that's kind of lame."
He then turns and looks towards the Yggdroid.
"Hey metalhead, how much further?"

KittyYou proceed onward. You loop back around to the path split from before without finding anything interesting, but at least your map's starting to fill out. Fuzz, XYou follow the Yggdroid as you chat. He leads you well off the beaten path. When Finn asks how much further, he points at the ground. "Twelve feet downward, and 200ft laterally." You look carefully and find a hatch in the ground. "Oh... Ew." Aria frowns. "No sun, damp, sewer water, and the stench..." "Yeah, well we've been living in it," the Birdfolk spits. "...Sorry..." Aria says. "Everyone ready to go in?" Warning! Boss detected! Maximum guilds: 1Blood, MalYou work your way around, looking for a way north. You finally manage to find a route forward by looping back and cutting through an alley, just like before. You see an alley ahead. "That will take us to the town center. That's where we'll find our target. Prepare for combat." Zenia pauses. "I sense a powerful enemy. Its threat level is significant. Perhaps we should delay." Warning! Boss detected! Recommended strength: 2 guilds
Multi-guild battling: Some bosses can be attacked from multiple angles at once. Other bosses will spawn reinforcements that will cause trouble for the guild fighting the boss if no one holds them off. To attack with two guilds, move them both into position and attack together!
