Introductory Stratum - Forsaken Harbor

"Sense danger..." DEADLIFE mumbles.

"Lets do it together Deady~" Draxia says to him.

"Don't call me that."

Move ahead... Let's do this, gotta work with Mal...

I am ready whenever.

Mathilda seems pretty scared.

Galvin: "No worry. I beat up big bad..."

Mathilda: "I think we should wait for reinforcements..."

Galvin: "If you say so."

I thought you said west.
...Did I do that thing I do where I mix up east and west constantly? I might have to start saying left and right.

Kitty, Blood, Mal

Once Sam and Zenia's guilds unite, they proceed forward to the town square.  Once they arrive, the source of those monster-filled nuts is immediately apparent.  A massive, turtle-like creature with a series of tubes protruding from its back.  As the groups watch, it unleashes another salvo of nuts.

Sam raises his blade and charges in.  His blow clinks harmlessly against the shell.  Zenia raises her gauntlet and unleashes a burst of flame, to the same effect.

"Target unharmed.  Switching to backup plan..."  She produces a signal flare from her pocket.

"Right.  We mark the target for the Stormrider's guns, and then we get out of here!" Sam says.

Zenia lights the flare and smoke starts billowing out of it.  She tosses it along the ground to rest by the turtle-beast.  "Retreat."

As the group turns to leave, they hear the sound of something large running along the cobblestones.  They turn to see a squirrel the size of a shed running towards them, carrying one of those nuts.  That must be what's been loading the turtle creature...  And there might be more of them.  The creature leaps in their way, cutting off their escape and snarling angrily.

"Tsk...  There's no time to find another route!" Sam calls out.  "We need to go now!  Attack in tandem and cut through it!"

The nut cracks open, and two smaller squirrels pop out.

The Yggdroid opens the hatch and you all descend into the darkness.  The Birdfolk goes first and lets out a panicked gasp.  You look into the darkness and see hordes of giant rats skittering about.  A particularly large one is near the center of the undulating mass.  "Monsters!  These stupid idiots must have woken them up...  Horus, with me!  Defend the survivors!"

"Understood," the Yggdroid answers.  He enters combat mode.

"You 5!  We're going to break through their lines and rescue the others!  Focus on that big one and the rest should scatter!  Move!"

Who does she think she is, insulting you, then giving orders?  Still, it seems to come naturally to her.  Maybe she used to be a guild leader?  ...There's time for that later!  Aria leaps in, and the rest of you follow!

"SCREEEEEE!"
