Oh... Yes... This is Buttons. He asked me to draw a creature he didn't comprehend, bit he showed interest in Chtulu so I did that instead..."

"Oh... Al... Alright. I'll leave too I guess!"

Leia walks throught the door, then turns back with a genuine smile.

"That was really fun Jimmy... Just give me a sign when I can come to see the photographs of myself develop..."

Before she gets an answer, she runs off in the distance. She'll go play with Winkybunion for the rest of the night, as well as finish her drawing.

Leia

You get two text messages when you leave Jimmy's house.

"Hey Leia! You up for another work shift Wednesday night? We're a bit short-staffed. -Freya"

"I'm ready to talk about what happened the other night when you are (￣ﾍ￣) well not tonight but sometime this week" The second one's from Natsumi.

Neither's going to interfere with your cat-plans, though.


Tai

You head to Mattea's house with Natsumi in tow.  She still seems pretty hesitant.  You knock on the door.

Mattea answers the door in a bathrobe and slippers, her hair wrapped up in a towel.  "He-e-e-ey, Tai, perfect timing.  I... oh."

"Hello, Mattea,"  Natsumi says.  "Tai brought me along.  He was very insistent you wouldn't mind."

"It's not that I mind, but I made dinner for Tai and I..."

"Oh, I'm-"

"It's fine, actually," Mattea says.  She folds her arms and looks at you.  "Tai can make some more while we have some girl time."

"Girl time...?" Natsumi asks.

"I was doing a stay-home spa day today, but I wasn't quite done yet.  You can start paying me back for yesterday and give me a hand with that while Tai cooks.  Does that work for you, Hun?"  She's waiting for you to respond.

Tai

Mattea brings the two of you inside.  Natsumi leaves her shoes at the door.  Mattea gives her a questioning look, but doesn't say anything about it.  She leads you into the kitchen.  A frying pan is sitting beside a still-warm burner with a pair of hamburgers drying on a paper towel beside it.  Mattea opens the refrigerator and pulls out some more raw hamburger meat, then turns the burner back on.  "Here ya go.  Just shape it and cook it.  Spices are over there.  Oh, Natsumi's not a vegetarian, right?  No, I've seen her eating meat.  Well, whatever."  She holds up a group of vials.  "By the way, which color do you like best?"

Nail polish?  Red (the same shade as her hair), green, or blue...  This could be a decision with import on par with Mass Effect's ending.

Tai

"Blue, huh.  Hmmmm.  Mmmmm...?  Hm.  Actually, I think I have just the outfit for it.  Alright, we'll try this out."  She heads into the living room.  "Oh, Natsuuumi..."

You try to make the burger.  You shape the meat into a vaguely patty shape.  You stick it in the burner, wait until it starts to turn the same color as the ones Mattea made, flip it...  Competent enough.  It's a bit charred, but perfectly edible.  Probably.

(I'm assuming you're going to set it aside and go check on the girls, but on the other hand you got left alone in Mattea's house and there's plenty of mischief you could get up to...)

"Sure, I was wondering if I was supposed to have work this weekend. Wednesday works for me."

Leia writes to Freya on her way home, but takes one last look as she sends the text. Leia sighs. Hopefully, this has nothing to do with the other world this time.

She then answers to Natsumi

"I'm free all night weeks, except on Wednesday. It's your call, Natsu-girl!"
