"Thanks," Natsumi and Mattea say together. They exchange a glance. You worry for a second, then they both shrug and let it go.
You head into the kitchen. Mattea has to walk with a goofy waddle because of the drying nails. You probably shouldn't mention that. She gives you some directions to pull out buns and chips and whatnot.
You all sit around the table. You take the burger you made, but Mattea takes your plate away. "Oh, no. I'm eating this." She gives you one she made instead. "I wanted to cook something for you, so you're going to eat it. Even if it's a bit cold."
Natsumi eats some of her burger. "Hmmm. I usually don't much care for not-fish meats, but this is good. I'm surprised! I didn't know you were good at cooking, President-person."
Natsumi's right. This is a pretty solid burger. Not fancy-restraunt good, but better than you can cook. Demonstrably.
"This is... a but burnt, Tai. And you could at least try a bit of seasoning," Mattea says. "I mean, it's edible. But maybe we could go to the cooking club together sometimes."

"Eh, I don't have time for cooking. I'm busy at Art club and Occult. Oh, and Drama. Maybe people like guys that can cook, but I bet they enjoy a guy who can summon a demon or paint them even more."Tai winks as he bites into his food.

"I've literally never thought of either of those things as something that makes good boyfriend material," Mattea says. "I'd rather have a guy that can cook."
"I dunno. I can cook for myself. I think a guy that can paint is pretty romantic. And I could see how painting someone could be... intimate..." Natsumi admits. "But the demon summoning? Huge turn-off. I mean... maybe there are some... things you could do with that, but what if you have a kid some day and they end up getting possessed because a baby doesn't have proper understanding of the occult?"
"You've put a lot of thought into this, huh?" Mattea asks.
"Huh? Oh, um. Not really? Just a passing thought," Natsumi says.
"Hm." Mattea leans on her elbow. "So would you have a three-way with our resident demon summoner here and a succubus?"
Natsumi chokes on her drink. "I... what!? I... don't..." She breaks down, coughing.
Mattea smirks.

Tai chuckles at that one. "With how sharp your remarks are I'd be more worried about them than a demon's claws." Tai says to Mattea winking and lenaing back in his chair.
"But yeah, you've got me there. The occult isn't romantic. It's pretty terrifying, actually. But hey, let me know if your master chef" Yai fake coughs *Sachi*, "can read you your future or decorate your house. Wouldn't you just love to know what lies in wait? Tarot is actually one of the safest parts of the occult. And it mixes well with art."

Natsumi chokes again. "I don't need my fortune read-"
"Who's talking about fortune telling?"
"Huh!?"
"Wow, you're so easy to tease. You're solid red! What kinds of dirty thoughts are running through your mind, I wonder? Oh, don't tell me you're actually hoping-"
"Sh-shut up!"
"Aw, did I go too far? Don't worry, I'll make it up to you later." Mattea turns back to you. "But seriously, how about you do some fortune telling after dinner?"

"Sure. I feel like last time I told a fortune I was in a whole other world. Natty, you gotta do it too. It's easier than running 3 miles or sitting through Mattea's quips." He smirks at both of them.

"...Fine," Natsumi agrees. "Tarot's harmless enough." She hastily takes a big gulp from her drink.
You finish eating. "Tai, why don't you go ahead and get set up in the living room? Natsumi and I will take care of cleaning up. I'd do it myself, but I don't want to ruin this beautiful nail job..."
While you're getting ready, you hear the two whispering in the kitchen. When they come in, they sit on either end of the couch. Mattea signals for you to sit between them. "Me first, Tiger."

"Alright fine." Tai takes his cards out from his back pocket.
So that's what that bulge was. Huh.
They're pretty worn, but they work. He sets them down and shuffles them around. "Alright, I'll do a past, present, future rather than a question." He makes sure the cards are shuffled and face down as they shoukd be, with some inverted. He feels for the right ones, grabbing all three and turning them over one by one.

"Oh, actually. I want you to do love readings or whatever you call it for both of us!" Mattea insists. "Tell us our romantic prospects, y'know?" She seems really into this, leaning against you like an excited puppy.
Natsumi sits on your other side, clutching the hem of her dress and looking at the floor. She looks a bit bashful. "Y-yes... I, um, believe in you, fortune-reading-person."

"Uuuuugh. Fiiiiiine. Whatever."Tai reconfigures for a romance reading. The setup is mostly the same, though this time he takes Mattea's hand in his and puts his other hand over it.
"I'll just go with the obvious question. Alright." Tai feels the question. What are my romantic prospects?
He takes it in him and focuses on it, breathing and letting it filk him and he finds the cards that will show him the answer and picks them.

He exhales taking a breath.

You could be lost and mixed up on the other hand because of the consequences of those ideas. For the present the Queen of Cups..." Tai's face contorts and he has slight smirk on his face. The best option is step back and evaluate your feelings and really figure them out.Finally, the Five of Wands means that your future will be relaxing and you should have some leisure time. That's good. A lot better than hanging over lava, am I right?"
Tai yawns and plops back. "That was... exhausting. So, what do you think ladies? Every tarot I've ever told has had a good amount of merit to it, whether you want to admit it or not." He winks and smirks at them.
