Mattea picks out a movie that looks pretty bad. And it is, but it's not the type of bad that's fun to riff on. It's just painful to watch. Mattea spends the movie with her legs draped across your lap and a grimace on her face.
When the movie ends, she frowns. "Well that was a total dud." She stretches and sighs. "At least dinner was pretty good."

Tai looks away awkwardly, pretending not to notice.
"So. Buttons' shit tomorrow better not be something stupid. I did help him set it up afterall. He'll probably do some dumb shit."
Tai plays with his thumbs awkwardly, not wanting to meet her gaze. "Thanks for the food and movie. I don't usually make friends as cool as you when I get expelled and move somewhere new. People usually just avoid me cause they can't handle my charming personality."
He gives her a half-hearted smirk.

The box says "Basic Crafting Kit" and also has a small ticket next to it that says "Rank 2-5." Weird. NoraYou wake up in your aunt's house, your first day here after settling in yesterday. School starts Monday, but it might be wise to spend today getting to know the town. The student body president, a Mattea Tarea, left you a message. Apparently the school's occult club is having a meeting downtown today, and she's obligated to attend. After that, she's willing to meet you for lunch - if you want.
