Floyd, Sam

The two of you nearly slam into each other as you both go running to the twins' house.  You slow down and ring the doorbell like normal people.

"Hi."  The voice doesn't come from the door, but from right behind you.  You both jump a bit, but turn to see Fox and Katie standing there with a few presents.

Speaking of presents you'll need to remind me what you got for who.

When did they...?

Your thoughts are cut off by the door opening.  Raine greets you.  "H-hello, everyone...  It's nice to see you.  Come on in."

You walk inside to find a simple celebration set up.


Sam, Floyd, Tai

A table's been drug from the kitchen into the living room, and a few extra chairs set up.  Streamers and a few balloons are hung somewhat awkwardly around the room.  Tai and Natsumi are already here, finishing bringing a tray of fresh, sauteed vegetables out of the kitchen.

Freya leaps down the stairs.  "Hey everyone!  Ready to eat?"

Sam

(Sam got Freya a Thunderbolt Hair clip and Raine a Rainbow Hair clip. They were the gifts recommended to her by Mareena.)

Y Yes I am Ms. Freya happy birthday to you and Raine.

(In reference to Tai and Natty): Umm are they friends of yours also? Sam is a little shy around new people. So she seems hesitate around Tai and Natisume since she doesn't know who they are

Sam asks Raine and Freya

Tai

"Not until the cake comes out," Natsumi whispers back.  "First we eat, then presents 'n' stuff, then cake."


Floyd

"Hey, knock off the captain stuff while we're off the clock!"  Freya wraps an arm around Floyd's shoulder and nudges him towards the table.  "Come and grab a hotdog 'n' some of this potato salad stuff!"


Sam

"Oh, right.  Sam, this is Tai and Natsumi.  Natsumi, Tai, this is Sam.  She's new to school."

"Hello, new person!  I'm Natsumi.  I'm in charge of the art club!"

Sam

Sam is quite nervous meeting Natsumi. She is pretty shy around new people and she is even blushing a bit.

Hi Ms. Natsumi it's really nice to meet you to. I just transferred here a couple of weeks ago. I met Raine during school and she's been really helpful with getting use to Vitcity. I met Freya through Raine and she seems like a really cool person. We even hung out for the day and she is really nice.

So Umm is there anything you would like to ask about me Ms. Natsumi?

While Sam waits for a response she whispers to Katie. I saw you at the park this morning with Floyd, while I was talking with Marenna and Dean. You guys okay, did anything happen. Floyd was being a gentleman towards you right, he wasn't trying anything funny was he. (Sam shoots Floyd a mischievous glare.) Don't tell me those robot jerks were harrasing you at your houses or something?

Tai

"There's more to be club captain than being the best player, y'know?" Freya grins. "You really think you could handle coaching and dealing with people who honestly kinda suck but they're having fun and that's what's important but you also need to make sure to win enough matches that the club budget doesn't get pulled and also handle the equipment and paperwork and scheduling and all the annoying student council meetings?"


Floyd

"I mean it's going OK, I guess. Found out about a huge magic conspiracy thing, had to fight some giant monster-bees, got to chuck Nat in a river, that part was really fun. Then argued with Raine a bit for not telling me, argued with Nat some more for the same thing, got things set up for the party, and now I'm talking to you." Freya nods quietly to herself. "All in all, still in my top 5 birthdays. I wish that was a joke."


Sam

"Oh, we were doing... stuff..." Katie whispers back.

"Um, what's your favorite color?" Natsumi asks.
