Gabriel picks up an empty backpack and heads out walking into the city, keeping an eye out for any debris he can repurpose on a project. He hopes there may be some restaurant still open with some cheap food along the way.

After getting up early and watching the tape, Nora showers and changes into her good suit. She sends Alice a quick text while casually doing her hair.
"It's Nora. Are you safe?"
With still a little time before she has to leave for Vitcorp, Nora sits down to watch the tape again. The mall security tape... After it's done, she laughs.
There's no way this is real, right...? Right?
She stands up and goes to look out the window. The sudden... tornado from last night was definitely real. And despite the insanity of it all, she knew the tape was too. There's no way that could have been staged or faked. She shakes her head, and her mouth slowly twists into a grin.
Let's see how deep this rabbit hole goes...

Alice texts you back after a few minutes. "We're fine. Guess it's lucky you didn't come camping after all?"
You get a message from your boss, Liam Tarea. "Hey, just a heads-up that we're going to start late today, building's not safe and they need to clean up some damage, probably 6PM to midnight"
Alice follows-up after. "We're stranded out here right now, but I should be back to Vitcorp by noon if you want to visit before work."

You get a message from Tai. "Ran into Mercia and a couple of her goons. Hate to admit it but the bitch kinda bailed us out of a bad situation. Still not sure what her angle is though."

Nora texts Alice back.
"Glad you're safe. I'd love to see you before work. Where would you like to meet up?"
Nora will change into casual shoes and throw on a light casual jacket over her suit, slipping her work shoes into her purse. She'll then send a quick confirmation text to her boss.
"Thank you for letting me know, Mr Tarea. Let me know if anything changes."

Dewey responds back, curious about exactly what Tai May have run into
After sending the text, Dewey gets breakfast. As he’s eating he marvels at the fact that even a windstorm like this apparently isn’t enough to get his parents to take a day off from work (although given his father’s a reporter, if anything this is just making more work for him) and once he’s done he goes out to see just how bad the damage is.
