"Trigonometry!" Natsumi says. "Well, Geometry. But we're talking about triangles again. And the unit circle and stuff." She takes out some books, paper, and pencils. "I used to think math is really hard, but I can do Geometry OK. It helps me to sketch the stuff out. As long as I can doodle the problem I can figure it out." Natsumi pauses. "Y'know I feel like with all the Otherworld stuff we don't talk about normal high school stuff much... Hey, what's your favorite subject, anyway?"

I tried band once, but I didn't really like it. I guess I just kinda like a little bit of everything?" Natsumi frowns slightly. "So I dunno what I really wanna go to school for."

"Well... You know I'm scared of everything, but we jumped from a giant spider web to a tunnel while diving above lava... I think my survival instinct is just more powerful than my fear?
But... I feel like you're going somewhere with this...

"No, nothing in particular's wrong. It just seems like the last few trips into the Otherworld we've had people freak out about stuff, and then it brought a bunch of monsters, and it was really bad. With Tia and then with Freya... though I guess most people would get surprised about getting thrown off a cliff. So maybe if we knew what people should avoid then... I dunno? It might help? Um... I don't really wanna see that spider again. But I'm not really afraid of... um... well..." Natsumi stops for a bit and looks away. It takes a few moments before she starts talking again. "I don't... like cars a lot. I can deal with the bus OK, but... maybe I shouldn't... go to whatever the Machine place is. Just in case."

We got to Soul Keys, but nobody asked us if we wanted to have the responsiblities that come with it...
To be frank, I enjoy going to the other world, but I don't really have knowledge of what we're fighting for...
A lot of talk of the world ending and Mercia being the bad guy, but I saw very little evidence of that...
I mean... Yes, the color stealers, but the only reason they were dangerous is because WE intruded."
