Dewey
Tia stands and stares. And thinks. Her tongue flicks in and out as she kicks her brain into overdrive. "Oh, she's probably been there. Or maybe she read your mind."

Dewey
Tia nods. "I'm glad I have a boss that knows a lot! I still don't really understand this world..."

"I suppose that's understandable, it hasn't been that long since you moved here. Why don't we make a deal? If you ever have questions about here that you'd like to ask someone I'd be happy to answer to the best of my abilities. In return, if I ever have questions about your home would you be willing to answer them?"

"I only really know about the Soul Labyrinth, but OK!" She holds up her cat. "Why does this Dogachu buzz when it's happy?"

"That's a cat. As for why it purrs, or 'buzzes' as you describe it, while the simplest possible explanation is that it's just a way of expressing contentment, scientists have found that a cat's purr is at a frequency which promotes natural healing in both cats and humans. Therefore, it's also possible that cats purr in response to affection as a means of positive reinforcement, thus training their owner much like how a person might train their pet. This also helps to explain why cats sometimes purr when nervous or injured as well as when they're happy, and why cats live so long compared to most other pets." (Yay, scientific facts!)

Dewey tries it again, this time trying not to overwhelm her with too many facts about something she barely understands. "That's just how it shows it's happy, kind of like how people smile. Sorry, I suppose I can get carried away sometimes."

I mean there's not really much to say in response, she's just kind of staring at me.

"Why are you staring at me?" "Any other questions?" "How'd you get this job anyway?" "Now I have a question."
Dewey
You let the awkwardness overwhelm you until Tia walks off to pass out more fliers.
...
Time for bed.
