You arrive at the mall and find it's pretty crowded, considering it's a Tuesday.  There's a small cafe with a few people you recognize inside.  You think you recognize one of the waitresses, but you aren't entirely sure.  She's not in your class, but her red hair looks vaguely familiar.  That guy in the leather jacket with the glasses is sitting at one of the tables.

In the music store, you catch sight of that metalhead perusing the selection of, unsurprisingly, new metal arrivals.

You notice Jimmy in the electronics shop, talking to one of the clerks.

And there's a little kid sitting at the main fountain.  Actually, no...  He's older than he looks.  You're pretty sure he's a freshman at your school.  He keeps checking his phone.  Looks like he's waiting for someone.

Tai

You take a seat in the cafe and that red-haired waitress comes over quickly.  She's got bright-red lipstick to match, and green eyes that shine like emeralds.  She'd look absolutely gorgeous if she weren't wearing a goofy uniform and you suddenly realize why she looks so familiar!  She's that girl who always wears fancy dresses at school!

She slips as she gets to your table, but plays it off.  She leans against your table as if it was done on purpose and smiles reassuringly.  "How may I serve you today, sir?"

Tai

"Well, that's not part of our menu, but it doesn't sound too difficult.  Just a second, Sweetie, I'll see what I can do."  She gives you a wink and walks towards the kitchen.  She knocks on the door.  "Oh, Sachi!" she calls out in a dulcet tone.  Someone familiar pops out of the door.  It's that kid you were sitting with at art club...

The two talk quietly for a few seconds.  A minute late, the waitress is bringing you a large cup of coffee with a scoop of vanilla inside.  She walks over very, very slowly and carefully.  "Here you go!  One... erm...  affogato al caffe."  She slides it in front of you.

Approach the little kid, and sit down next to him.

"Hi, want a pop-tart? I'm Karl," Karl says with a jug of milk in his left hand and a strawberry frosted poptart in his right.

Tai

Sachi very quickly disappears back into the kitchen.

You notice a very unstable-looking person walk by outside with a gallon of milk.

Your instinct is to curl up in a ball, hide, and hope he goes past.
