There's a few people you vaguely recognize from school hanging out (Tom and Mattea in the cafe, Katie and Fox running around, Lance in the music store, and Avalon walking around), but the only two he knows personally are that angsty jerk from the Occult Club (in the cafe) and Raine, sitting on the edge of the fountain with a bag of gardening tools.

Tai reciprocates it, just enough to seem friendly. "Can I get the same thing as yesterday?" He asks. He adds, "Oh, and what's your name? I'm pretty sure I saw you at the Occult club today", as an afterthought.

You call out to Raine. She's so startled that she almost falls in the fountain before she catches herself. "Ah... Hello, Vincent. It's nice to see you."

"That's one... erm... affogato al caffe," she says. It seems like she's still not used to the phrase. "Oh, right. I'm Mattea. Yes, I go to the Occult Club from time to time. Not that I believe in any of it, I'm just interested in... y'know. Legends, myths. That sort of thing."

"Really? I mean, legends and myths can be fascinating, true, but I definitely believe there's some truth in the Occult, even if not all of it's real. I mean, did anyoen really think we could summon a demon that has been known in myth to be one of the princes of hell, in a classroom?"

Tai's expression stays neutral. He mulls over his response a bit, not wanting to make an enemy rather than a friend, and finally replies,
"Sorry, but not really. The only clubs I've visited so far are the Occult and Art clubs, and they were both alright. But I can check out the Drama club if you want me to. Reserve judgement until I've seen what it has to offer."

Mattea shrugs. "Come if you'd like, but don't force yourself. I will say you might be able to find something to do even if you don't like acting. We've got lights and sound that need running, scenes that need painting, we need ushers and grips... And I can always use another set of hands for costumes and makeup."

Vince asks, tilting his head in curiosity. His scraggly brown hair seems to be on end a bit... maybe Raine falling into the fountain scared him more than he's letting you know.
