You walk into the arcade. Viola notices you and leans down, whispering something to Lisa. She whirls around, and even Karl can tell she looks pissed. And when she recognizes Karl, her rage intensifies.
Arcadia
"I figured you'd come by, I just thought you'd sleep in a bit... Oh, well. Hold a moment. Tia? Could you run along and start handing out fliers? I'd hate for my darlings to get too fat."
Tia nods. "OK. I'll be back at lunchtime!"
"Perfect."
As Tia leaves, Mareena turns her attention to you. She flips her legs, rests her chin on her fist, and smirk down at you. "So, my little magician, now we're all alone. Tell me something. You think you're awfully clever, hm?"

"Oh, hell yeah! Of course!" Arcadia poses confidently with her hands on her hips. "I got the sharpest wit in this entire town! Nothin' or no one outsmarts me! ...Uh, actually, what are ya talkin' about?" Arcadia's pose deflates a little.

"Clever, confident. Not the must charming..." Mareena hops up and walks over. She reaches out, strokes your cheek, and stares deep into your eyes. "But you have a pretty face. Especially those gorgeous eyes."
Mareena steps away, nodding slowly. "Alright. Step over here. And you probably wanna lose the shoes."

Arcadia blushes slightly at Mareena's actions, then appears confused at her request. "Uh... alright." Arcadia complies, setting aside her shoes.

Mareena takes Arcadia's hand and walks her around the table. She pulls out a seat and guides Arcadia into it, sliding her into position at the head of the table. Arcadia can feel a pair of dimmer switches hidden in the floor beneath her feet, tucked away under the table's skirt. Just as she thought. One is off - probably the crystal ball. The other is most of the way on, probably the main lights.
Mareena walks back around to take a seat on the customer's side. She wears a pleasant smile as she makes a small gesture for Arcadia to proceed, then neatly folds her hands on the table.

Arcadia stares blankly at Mareena for a second, then suddenly gets the idea. She thinks. "Oh. OH. *ahem* Welcome, esteemed Great Mareena. This meeting was already foretold in the stars, the twisted branches of fate illuminated upon my crystal ball." Arcadia tries dimming the lights a bit, then activates the crystal ball. "I am... the AMAZING ARCADIA. My unparalleled gift of otherworldly clairvoyance will help illuminate your path... but only for the right price. How can I aid you in unraveling the destinies in your future today?"

Arcadia leans in, rhythmically tapping her fingers on the crystal ball while gazing deep into it... well, she's not really sure what she's looking at, but Arcadia tries to convey otherwise. "Yes, I can see the origins of your enterprise. A truly strong foundation. But to continue supplementing its growth, you must learn to take precarious ventures. Be sagacious in your profession, but dare to be bold in practicing risk. Fate decrees it will not present its fruits to the hesitant. To begin... perhaps attempt seeking the aid of a bewitching blonde beauty, who you may encounter very, very soon..."

"When she went to the bathroom, you say outside waiting for hours, you creep!" Lisa accuses.
Viola cautiously retreats behind the arcade counter. The guy working the counter lets her back without question and gives Karl a dirty look.

"Oh, I do have a thing for blondes..." Mareena whispers. You're relatively sure she's trying to get a rise out of you. She leans forward excitedly. "Tell me more about her."

"What's creepy about that? I was just testing to see if there's some special exit in the girl's bathroom. I waited for an hour so she could come out and we could keep talking, and when she didn't come out I thought that she escaped to the other world or something. Or there was a tunnel or teleporation pad there. So, I decided to test that theory by waiting until closing and seeing if she came out. If she didn't come out, then I know something weird is happening in the girl's bathroom. If she did come out, then I know that nothing strange happens there. Nothing creepy about that, but the security guard man obviously didn't appreciate my test..."
