"So what's it name?". "What's it like?". "How is it?" Sam will ask Tia in between giving flyers to random strangers passing by.

"Oh wow who knows maybe I want a pet rabbit one day,". "Then again I have to see how my pet ferret Floofy paws gets along with it,". "Oh yeah the ferret I had with me when I met you and Mr. Kiran with me that day looks like a cat and a snake," Sam says.
Sam is still handing fliers to random strangers while talking to Tia and might have accidently given a flyer to one of the rabbits in their cage.
"Oh yeah Mr. Kiran was nice that evening he showed me around the city my first evening here,". "Oh yeah we didn't get a chance to really talk,". "Then I was going to try and talk to you yesterday but Dewey got to you first,". "So how long have you been here in Vitcity Ms. Tia?" Sam asks.
Sam passes one of the flyers to one of the birds in the bird cage while not really paying attention.

"Well I moved here a few weeks ago, because my dad's job transferred him here,". "I am very shy around new people,". "The people here been really kind to me and made some great friends," Sam rattles off.
"Oh and yes my hair is naturally this Silver, its a rare gene that my family has,". "It affects the coloring of my hair and it causes it to have this color,". "I been picked on and bullied a lot because of my hair color and it's made me sensitive to it," Sam says very shyly.
Sam was focused on passing out flyers and talking to Tia and she didn't realize how close she was to the snakes. Sam was about to put the flyer in the Snake cage when she heard the hissing. Sam turned around and her face goes completely pale.
"S s s s sn sna sna nake Snake," Sam stammers as she packs away towards Tia.
"Snake Snake Sssssssnnnnnnaaaaaakkkkeeee," Sam is now visibly shaken and trembling.
"I have a a a fe fea fear of Snakes,". "Bad experience with snakes and umm yeah snakes scary," Sam says visibly shaken about almost petting a snake.

Tia nods when you mention hair color. "Oh! My weird hair probably comes from my pants, too, but I didn't get them from my family or anything, Somnis bought them for me," Tia says. You notice her hair color and jeans are about the same shade. "But your pants aren't silver..."
When you freak out about the snakes, Tia walks over to the glass and stares at them. The snake flicks its tongue out. Tia flicks hers out in response, a freakishly good impression. She even looks like she has a forked tongue for a second. "Why are they in jail?" she asks.

Sam is still visibly nervous about the snake.
"Oh my hair color doesn't have to do with my pa pa pants,". "It's really ha ha har hard to explain,". "But alot of the people in my family have Silver hair like this,". "Some people in my family ha have normal color hair,". "Some have Sil Sil Silver hair,". "I am am just one of the few peo peop people have Silver hair,". "Umm it has to deal with umm family," Sam stammers out to Tia.
Sam is a little less nervous about the near death experience.
"Not not not sure why they are in jail?". "Umm maybe to keep them safe from people who would harm them,". "Yes a lot of me me mean people out there that would harm th th them,". "Umm you must really like Sn sn snakes?" Sam stutters. Sam is still too scared to think about why Tia has a forked tongue and can talk to the snakes.

You sprint to the mall.
The mall seems pretty crowded tonight. Lots of people wandering around. Tom is having a cup of coffee in the cafe. Avel is shopping for CDs. Laura is in the drugstore, buying something. Lisa gets off the bus behind you and heads to the arcade. She starts practicing some fighting game. Tia is at the pet store for some reason, talking to a silver-haired girl wearing her usual uniform. And Zack is wandering around like he's lost.
The electronics store is undefended and unprepared for Karl.
Sam
"Nope! A snake killed my mom." With that, Tia hefts the bag of rabbit food (it's food, for rabbits) and leaves.
Tia and Sam reached relationship rank 2 (maybe 3 it's hard to check on my phone).

(I think it's just Rank 2. That day ended up being Kiran 2 because Tia had to work or something.)

"Oh wow that must have been one poisonous snake,". "When I was bit by a snake it hurt a lot and I got really sick,". "But yeah avoid talking about Snakes with her or in general," Sam thinks to herself.
Sam will go ahead and pass out the rest of her flyers then reports to Marenna.

Ah, but that is just how these things go sometimes. Dean's not coming to tend the birds tonight and I'm closing a bit early. Your last task is to make sure they have enough birdseed and water, then you're free to go."

You easily find a digital tape recorder, but no old analog ones. And there's sound detectors, but none that push buttons in response to sound or anything. What the heck, this is bullshit. How is anything supposed to get done?
