Raymond: "Yes I did... People seeing shadows has been reported in many towns though... Today is the first day it's happened in Melodis.



Nothing's coming out of it anywhere. No one pursuing a shadow has caught any and the shadows never did anything in any town.



We would investigate, but knowing that small towns have not resolved the situation, it would be even harder for us to find what's happening since we're in the metropolis.



And even more with all the people in town today. Whatever these shadows are could just hide in plain sight, in the mass."



Eurya: "So you're not gonna do anything? Obviously, something is being put in place. We could be talking about the Dark Conquerors."



Raymond: "The captains think mobilizing for the issue is a waste of time. Since the shadows never caused anything, they don't even see it as an issue. I volunteered to search, but they were clear my post was at the gate.



As for the Dark Conquerors. Hiding is not their style. Actually, we know they're active in Klaveburg right now."

You close your eyes and start blowing into your Ocarina, playing your song. Everything gets colder and colder around you, until you open your eyes and see you are surrounded by what you would qualify as a blizzard. The blizzard spins around you and eventually concentrate in one point and doesn't seem to get away. Inside this sphere of spinning snow, as big as a human, you can see a graceful humanoid silhouette the size of a child. What a mysterious Note Beast. The sphere around it mean you'll never know what it really looks like.

Sol takes out a wrist cymbal and installs it on his left hand. He puts a drum on the ground and pulls out his favorite Ocarina. He plays all three instrument at once, using his feet to kick into the drum.



His movements are really fast, almost as if there were a sense of urgency to them. You even think you see Sol becoming read and sweating. The water Note goes out of the harmonica, zooms around the room so fast, it leaves blue colored streak behind, then crashes into the altar, resulting in a stream of water launching Sol into a wall. Sol tries to get his bearings and tries to stand up, but theres something on him: a big turquoise shark with four legs. The Note Beast, whom has boots on each feet, starts running around the room in excitement. It's pretty fast. Sol looks at what he just summoned, with his usual look of disbelief. The creature eventually stops next to him.

Kiki takes wooden stick out of her hair. You notice it has hole in it. Must be some sort of recorder. She blows in it, moving her fingers from one hole to another.



She starts moving in ways you'd qualify as beastial. It's almost scary. The Plant Note comes out of the recorder and seems to follow Kiki's movements, until shw swipes it into the altar, causing an explosion of green light. The creature revealed is a big green ant with a mushroom popping out of it's head. The mushroom seems to be pulsating. The Note Beast is actually quite small, it's just big for an ant. It's small enough to be able to crawl all over Kiki, which she doesn't seem to mind.

The one-armed guard taps a contraption you didn't notice on his left leg. It pops out a tiny harp and puts it at the height of Elliot's only arm. He starts playing a song quite impressive for a one-armed man.



A grey note comes out of the harp, then circles around the man, stopping where his right arm would be, as if inspecting it. You can see Elliot reacts badly to this, but he continues playing. The note eventually lands softly on the altar, causing a bright grey flash. Out of it comes a creature the size of a halfling. It has a chubby head, pointy ears and a body that goes with it's head. His eyes are shaped like almond and the creature has a comforting smile. It's wielding a tiny spear in one hand and a shield in the other. The creature's chest is covered with a leather armor, that makes it look bouncy. It wobbles to Elliot...

??: "Hello there Elliot! I will gladly be your right hand if you'd be kind enough to give me a hand!"

You can see a tear going down from the man's face. He's obviously trying not to cry.

Sol looks up at you... He's a bit too serious about all this.

Sol: "You're laughing at me, sis? Wait... What's that?"

You notice three symbols on the grounds. They start flashing, one of them more than the others. Sol and you are now in a dome of white energy and there's two wolf-like creatures made out of the same energy. And they seem hungry. Really hungry.

Sol: "HEY! ELF GUY! THERE'S MONSTERS IN HERE WITH US! HEY! YOU HEAR ME?

What the hell?"

Sol is getting ready to fight... With his fists.



You notice Elliot and Kiki are stuck in another domes with two wolves too.

One of the creature bites Leit, while the other bites Cargo.

Sol: "Hey. Leave my Note Beast alone!"

Sol runs towards Arcane Howler B, jumps in the air, then kicks it from above.

Meanwhile, you put Arcane Howler A to sleep while Leit confuses the other.

Cargo spits water in front of Arcane Howler B, then slides on it to crash into the enemy.

Arcane Howler B is growling intensely.

You shoot a sphere of water on the second wolf creature and everyone seems to follow your lead. Leit fires a stream of ice, while your brother and his Note Beast use the same attacks as before. The Howler just seems to dissipate.

Sol: "Hum... If I calculate the amount of punishment that thing took to take down, the sleeping one will have a chance to attack even if we all attack it..."
