You run in, picking up your scythe out of nowhere and slashing one of the tribesman. The three of them flips backwards, chant something and javelins appear in their hands. The samurai guy looks at you.
Vaikandau: "Father? You came to... You're not father! Glad to have some backup anyway. My name is Vaikandau."
He unsheates his katana and goes next to you as Degearabia shoots a Fear Beam at the first enemy. It doesn't seem to affect him.
Tiki Grunt B is trying to apply herbs on Tiki Grunt A.
Tiki Grunt C is dancing.

Gear will use a Fear Beam on Grunt B in the same fashion as before. Odette will use a slash on Grunt C's mask, trying to cut it in half to reveal their face.

You slash Tiki Grunt C's mask, but the wood it's made off is obviously stronger than you thought, as your weapon deflects and doesn't stop his dance. Nothing happens whe he finishes though. Vaikandau strikes Tiki Grunt A, defeating him.

(Yes and no. You go back to neutral status, but it gets easier for you to reach Damaged/Wounded/Weak if you don't truly heal.)
